These are compact when folded and lightweight to carry, but they're quite sturdy when deployed. I have a rather heavy 17.3 inch mobile workstation for engineering and simulation work, and this stand holds it solidly and without slipping around on the work surface. I originally bought this to improve cooling, because my applications run the machine pretty heavily, but the angle improves my wrist ergonomics as well as raising the laptop's screen to a more comfortable viewing angle. I work from two desks (plus sometimes being mobile) and came back to order an additional unit of these so I can move the laptop between the two desks more quickly, but when I travel one of them will be folded and added to my computer bag. Definitely five stars.

I used this product to hold a 17 inch laptop. It works great for me because I wanted something that elevates the laptop off the desk yet I need a minimum tilt range. I also like the carry bag and how it folds down to save carry space its great.

Before this little gadget I was in essence cooking the components in my gaming laptop. This product works like a charm. Easy to use and carry around.
