A good quality shifter/e-brake, only held back by the G-Hub software
Logitech has upped it's game with these RS line components. I paired this with the RS50 wheel, and the RS pedals with clutch module. Gone are the days of cheap feeling Logitech sim racing hardware. This makes the old G27 wheel and shifter I have feel like a true toy, where this feels like a real piece of hardware. I am using this mostly as an e-brake since I use the RS50 paddles for shifting most of the time. As an e-brake, it works great. It feels solid, has good a good linear feel, and improved my sim racing experience. I also like that it directly plugs into the RS50 wheel and the settings are very easy to make. The only bad part about Logitech is the G-Hub windows software. It is simply not reliable, at least for me. I've had issues with it failing to load or freeze up when racing, rendering the RS50 not working correctly. The only fix I found has been to disable sleep on my Windows 11 computer. Anyhow, this would be a true 5 stars if the software was better. However, it's closer to 4.5 with their software since it just seems buggy, bloated, unreliable, and slow. I wish it was better but it's not. I spent 29 years in IT, so I've been around my fair share of computers and servers, and am in no way a rookie with tech.

Looks and feel
Works great, it is very sturdy, for its price i would take it over the thrustmaster handbrake, and i like the way it feels and the setup was pretty straight forward but the only issue is that if you play on console you need to get the logitech adapter for it to work if you have have a G29, G920, or G923

Extremely frustrating
The idea behind this peripheral is fantastic. A dedicated sequential shifter and handbrake for PC racing sims is something every sim racing enthusiast dreams about. Logitech clearly aimed to give players a more authentic, immersive driving experience. Pros: Conceptually awesome: combining a sequential shifter with a handbrake is perfect for rally, drift, and sim racing. Build quality is solid — it feels sturdy and well-made, like a premium Logitech product. Cons / Reality Check: Game support is severely limited. Very few titles recognize the shifter or handbrake properly. BeamNG: It registers but doesn’t operate correctly. Shifting up or down sends the car into neutral between gears, and downshifts can jump straight from fourth gear to zero. DIRT 5: Completely unrecognized, even after trying X360 Controller Emulator. PMT mod in BeamNG doesn’t reliably fix the issues. Price: At nearly $200, this ends up feeling like a paperweight rather than a usable peripheral for most PC racing games. Design: It would make more sense to sell the shifter and handbrake separately, as you typically need to use them individually anyway. Verdict: The concept is excellent, but the execution is extremely limited by software support. Unless you’re playing very specific titles known to work with Logitech’s peripheral (Assetto Corsa, Project CARS, older DiRT games), you’re likely to run into frustration. For the price, this peripheral is not worth it for the average sim racer today, as it’s mostly non-functional in modern games.

great sim addition
Well built, did not like the click noise when shifting was too loud. Had to take it apart and remove one of the detent rollers to quiet it down . other than that i would recommend it

Nice but ultimately useless
They only work with like a handful of games other than that they are essentially useless but well constructed and easy to install.

Super tough build/great feel.
I love the look and feel of this Shifter/Handbrake. Unfortunately it does not work with the hardware or software I needed it for. This is very sad as I love the feel of the Handbrake. Know that It will not work with GT7 or Forza. IT WILL NOT WORK IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE LOGITECH FORCE SHIFTER.

Awesome, but make sure you update your steering wheel's firmware
I bought this to go with my Logitech Pro wheel, which I only use on my XBox (my gaming laptop can't run iRacing or other PC racing sims). When I plugged in the handbrake, I expected it to work out of the box, and when it didn't, I exchanged it, thinking it was defective. It wasn't defective. The wheel just needed a firmware update. It's simple: download the Logitech G Hub to your laptop, plug in your wheel, and update the firmware. Once that's done, the handbrake works like a charm. The brake itself is great. I have it bolted into my Logitech Playseat (I had to buy a separate handbrake holder). For the first time, I can feather the brake in rally games. I didn't expect this to be as much of a game changer as it is. It adds a whole new dimension to your driving in rally games. If you have the G Pro wheel and you like rally games, this is a must buy. It's also a good buy if you're looking for a sequential shifter, but it shines as a handbrake. But again - even if you're using it on console, you still need to hook it up to your PC to update the firmware. Luckily, it's an easy fix.

I couldn't be happier with my decision. This product has truly elevated my sim racing experience to a whole new level. The build quality is outstanding, with a solid and durable feel. The shifter and handbrake respond is on point, providing a realistic and immersive racing experience. The tactile feedback is just right, making gear changes and handbrake turns feel natural and satisfying. That click, sounds amazing. :) The installation process was straightforward, and the adjustable settings allowed me to customize the shifter and handbrake to my preferences with one simple switch. I had to issues configure it with my Logitech G Pro wheel. I've only been using it with GT7 so far. This product has exceeded my expectations in every way. It's a must-have for any serious sim racer looking to enhance their setup. Highly recommended!

Superou a expectativa.

Very nice as a handbrake. My old cheap handbrake always got stuck. This one is silky smooth and making the back end to drift much easier. Never have and likely never will use it as a shifter. CHEERS!
