Great stapler, flat and does not take a lot of force. Holds full rack of staples

Bought this to replace a very old stapler. This one works great, and it is used frequently.

This stapler is small, fits the hand good, does not need a lot of pressure to use and is easy to refill.

Like a lot of customers, I bought this stapler mostly for use with cardboard coin flips. It seems to work fine on multiple sheets of paper, but I've had a number of jams on the cardboard flips. I've had to remove misshapen staples from the cardboard or shake them out of the stapler. This doesn't happen every time, but it's certainly enough to remove a star from my review. Also, the action isn't as smooth and foolproof as I would like. You have to squeeze firmly to get a super tight clinch, and then be careful to fully release the stapler so it resets for the next stable. I've had staplers from the major brand of flat clinch staplers before, but my wife noticed that they were really nice, so they somehow disappeared from my office. After my struggles with the Rapesco stapler, I purchased another one of the major brand staplers. I'll leave this one on my desk for use with paper, but keep the good one in the safe with my coins! As I said in my headline, this stapler is good for most applications, but doesn't quite meet my expectations for heavier use.

I purchased this for coin collecting, specifically stapling shut coin “flips”. It’s been fantastic, and hasn’t binded up once. Flat staples are SO nice, I’ll never go back.Just buy it!
