Works great for a 2021 Forester, after a while I did have connection issues but I learned that keeping it disconnected helps reset it. 👌

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I’ve tried a few different Google android ai boxes for the car and this one is pretty damn good. It’s not the fastest but load times are decent. Once I signed into all my Google accounts and setup WiFi everything was running smoothly. It’s awesome being able to watch movies and TV on apps like Prime video and HBO Max while on road trips and I’ll put YouTube on the way to work to catch up on news. Eventhough it’s only 4gb ram it seems faster and more stable than some of the higher spec boxes out there. It takes software updates OTA. I started having an issue with the specific unit I had but have since purchased another and it’s working fine. Many people who return these or give bad reviews simply do not understand how to setup and program an android device.

Android Auto mode does not work with Ford Sync 4 in 2025 Maverick. Had to use CarPlay mode but it doesn't look right either. Probably returning. Stuck on connecting to Android Auto screen

I got this June 4 and here we are aug 10 and it just stop working out of the blue. not worth getting this product. The worst part was they contacted me and just asked me try plugging it up like I didn’t know to do that lol. And after that they didn’t offer to replace or nothing. Do not get this product trust meE

I installed this in my Ram truck with 12 inch Uconnect 5 and actually have full screen wireless android auto now. This works perfect.

I have been using this for a few months. I am still trying to figure out the best way to use it. I was able to connect it to my hotspot which worked and I was also able to use a SIM card. Both of those allowed me to get on the internet. They have a setting where you can "tether" it to your phone through Bluetooth. I was hoping that I could just use my 5g connections on my phone rather than use my hotspot. I haven't been able to do that. I have tried to look up videos for help, but I haven't found anything. I am also trying to figure out the SIM card thing. It said I have data left, but it is not allowing me to connect to the internet anymore.There are some APPs that I have been able to download and some that I am disappointed that I can't watch. The video turns out clear and the sound is almost spot on. There are times when I am watching a video and the sound will stop matching up with the video. When that happens, I unplug it and plug it back in. That has helped.This has really became a game changer during long road trips!

I was excited to give this try as I was interested in having wireless CarPlay instead of the wired CarPlay. My car came with from the factory. This thing is pretty easy to use you just plug it into the USB port on your stereo and it connects to your phone via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Now if my car is running and I get within 10 or 15 feet of it, my phone automatically connects I no longer have to plug my phone in when I get into the car it just automatically connect on its own.
