Great piece of equipment
Best kitchen purchase I have made in a while. Shuts the wrap up tight keeping the food inside. Place the wrap on the outer edge,, place food inside the wrap, and fold the wrap over the outer edge. Close the wrapper and put in microwave for 8 seconds. When you take the wrapper out of the microwave close it and you will have a sealed sandwich.

Does not seal
Tried this a few times and no matter how little filling or how hard I pressed it would not seal a tortilla.

Excellent size
This hand pie maker is the PERFECT size! The pies are just large enough to really have some filling but small enough to cook evenly and quickly. The press makes the cut and press very quick. Use plenty of flour and you'll be whipping these out rapid pace.

Empanada maker
Wasn’t happy with this. It’s hard to use. It doesn’t come out like the picture. And it was larger than what I thought.

Poor design hinge design is lacking.
Product came broken. The molded hinge point on one was was broken. The hinge point is a metal pin inserted to hold the two sides of the product together which is just molded plastic. Don't know if was broken during assembly or if it broke in transit but the disign is poor and can't imagine it lasting very long when used.

Good product
This product is well made and very sturdy. The plastic material is thick and easy to clean. I have been inventing all kinds of fillings for my 6" pies. This is a great, fun product.

Not just for empanadas! :)
The media could not be loaded. We live to use these for a little non traditional. I make peanut butter and jelly or Nutella and strawberries as a snack. The other day I ask my 2 yo if he wanted a sandwich and he went to the pantry and grab this press out and wanted his sandwich made with it. Super simple change but makes it more fun for the kids.
