not easy to take out
It’s a bit hard to control the amount, sometimes I accidentally use too much because the brush is a little stiff. But the powder itself is pretty decent and feels okay to use overall. Just takes a bit of care during application ('・ᴗ・`).

Great alternative to Colorscience
I am 40 yro with some fine lines and enlarged pores, normal to oily skin, and I have used a lot of SPF powders before. I learned from Dr Dray on Youtube that SPF powder is not an effective way to reapply SPF, but I still like to have one in my bag as a touch up powder. I think this powder by Derma E is a great alternative for anyone who likes the Colorscience or Supergoop powders that come in a similar packaging, because those are a lot more expensive. Personally, I prefer to carry a compact and brush (I like the Canmake translucent spf 50 powder), because I have more control and see how much I am applying. But using the Derma E, I do see the mattifying effect after I apply it, so I know it’s there, it’s just hard to see how much you get, but this kind of packaging is the most convenient on the go.

Dispenser doesn't work
I really wish I could get this powder SPF to work, as the concept is ideal for me. I have oily skin and the thought of a sheer powder that I could bring on the go to both decrease shine and boost my sun protection is very compelling. Unfortunately, the dispensing mechanism doesn't work at all. First of all, as a first-time user of this type of SPF, there are no directions on the packaging of how to prime the brush. Do you need to twist something to open up a conduit from the reservoir to the brush? Who knows, it doesn't say. I ended up searching online reviews/videos and finally figured out that you're just supposed to shake it until the product falls into the brush. I spent probably about 20 minutes over multiple days shaking, tapping, and otherwise trying to coax the product into the brush without any luck. So I guess I'll have to dump the product into another container to use it, which defeats most of the purpose. This product definitely needs a little more R+D for the design mechanism before it's ready for the big-time.

Invisible - Is it even there? Who knows!
I love the design and concept of this but I honestly can't tell if anything is actually being applied. I removed all barriers that I could detect and the powder is loose, but on a shiny face, nothing seems to be on the brush and transferring to my skin. I love that the sides of the cylinder come up so the bristles are compact and don't get squashed in the lid. THAT is great design. I just wish I could tell if I'm actually applying anything!

spf powder
It took me a while to figure this thing out and it’s not great. First off I only use it over my regular sunscreen to help with the shiny look I get from that. I wouldn’t use it alone for sunscreen, personally.I shook it for a while trying to get some powder onto the bristles and got nothing. I threw it in my purse because I was on my way out, and forgot about it for a week. When I found it again later there was a lot of powder in the cap and on the bristles. It’s kind of tough to get the right amount and there’s a lot of powder in the cap. It is kind of messy and it’s easy to get too much or not enough.

Faulty/Non-Intuitive Design, Oily people
The media could not be loaded. I was really excited to try this but was really disappointed for multiple reasons.1. Faulty and Not Intuitive Design. I can’t figure out if the proper way to use this sunscreen is by unscrewing the powder part, dipping the brush, and then using it on my face. But that’s the only way it makes sense as it doesn’t screw and the powder doesn’t get into the brush (watch my video). The thing is, if that’s actually the intended design, it’s terrible because it’s so messy. I had powder everywhere on my sink because it’s filled to the brim and I definitely will not be able to take this on the go to use for touch up if it means causing a mess like that.2. I don’t see this being a good under makeup moisturizer, for most people. It is essentially a powder so unless you have incredibly oily skin and want to matte that out…but even then you need some moisture for the foundation to not crease and look good so I don’t see how that would work.3. For the price, i don’t know if this sunscreen is worth it as it is really small.I see this working for 2 scenarios:1. Maybe if you are comfortable in your natural skin and you put nothing but sunscreen and you have an extremely oily face that you wanted matte2. If you have an oily face and your oil is shining through your makeup and you need to retouch your sunscreen without messing up your makeup

Oddly designed
I think this must be for one's face. Otherwise, why would sunscreen exist in a powder?I think this contraption is oddly designed. Was the powder supposed to flow through the handle of the brush?Because it doesn’t.What I ended up doing was unscrewing the end that held the powder to access it. A lot spills that way, and there’s not much powder to start with. They did do a good job with making it a color that somewhat matches a real skin tone.

Great on the go SPF protection that helps set make up too!!
I really like this product as it’s perfect for on the go SOF touch ups which is key where I live with months and months of extreme heat and I spend a lot of time behind the wheel which exposes my skin.Sunscreen is great but when you have a full face of make up for work - it’s not conducive to reapply - enter this touch up powder which keeps skin matte and protected! It has a nice translucent finish which will lend well for most skin types and provides SPF 30 on the go! It has a nice finish and can be used with or without make up and it is fine so applies easily!Great for on the go tough ups with sun protection!
