Romer-G Switches, the best I've tried
Let me be clear I bought this keyboard because I wanted the = and + symbols to be the "right" way around. I do programming and I learned to type way back when so I'm used to shift being used to get the symbol ABOVE the normal key symbol not below it. As such I couldn't use the normal Cherry switches unless I used a non backlit keyboard which in my office would have meant some kind of overhead lighting which I didn't really want. Now I've got this keyboard, I wouldn't go back to cherry keys. Not only are these keys quieter than my old MX Browns but they also don't suffer with as much wobble which means I can type quicker and be more sure I'm pressing the right keys.I've used this keyboard for writing English and programming in SQL and it does the job excellently. I also game using it both FPS and RTS (not sure which World of Warships comes under but that as well). In game the keys are admirable and despite running them through a USB switch (effectively a KVM switch) I've noticed no input lag nor have I found issues using the keyboard. The software which goes with the keyboard Logitech G Hub does sometimes fail to recognise I've started a game and doesn't switch profiles but a quick Alt+Tab to the desktop or another app and then back in again and it works fine. Other than that the level of control is excellent and the layout is about as non technical as you can expect with all of these features. Now down to the pretty bit, the RGB.Yes these aren't the brightest of lights. There's no spill and it won't light up a room but I like that. What is does do is light each key's characters evenly and in whatever colour you so choose (except white of course which is blueish on almost all RGB keyboards) and the effects you can program are wonderful. It's a real nice feature to mirror your desktop colours in the keyboard (yes it really does look cool and quite understated in my opinion) and if you want to have a ripple effect then I was shocked how well that worked.TLDNRGreat keys (Romer-G > Cherry MX Browns) for quietness, less wobble and typing comfortGood lighting, not amazingly bright but well lit and with great effects.Gaming - the software works well and you can set up things to your hearts desireOverall looks, it's brushed black with a comfy wrist wrest and doesn't take up your whole desk - In other words, just about perfect.

Quality keyboard
Only just received the keyboard but the first impressions are great. Can't speak to the longevity as yet, but build quality, look and feel are all flawless. I have the carbon version - and it looks very smart. Very little light bleed from the leds - and what there is is kind of a gentle glow that softens up the corners, the rest comes right out the top of the keys as it's supposed to. To be clear though, the lighting is secondary to it's main function (for me) - which is to type on, and here it is excellent, exactly what I hoped for.The problem is, if you want a mechanical keyboard, there's very little to choose from that isn't billed as a 'gaming keyboard', so you pretty much have to accept that, if you want a decent quality keyboard with excellent feel, it's going to come with led lighting and, if that's the case, you might as well get something that offers quality and flexibility. Personally I'm not really fussed about flashy, but the logitech software allows you to set a single steady colour - which is what I've done, and it looks fine.Anyway, to the main function, the one which I bought it for - typing. I pretty much type for a living and, while I'm not super quick, I do touch type - so was after a mechanical keyboard with a tactile response. I've been using a mechanical keyboard for a couple of years but it's linear and offers zero tactile feedback (decent quality though, and very reliable), so had a look round and settled on this one. The difference in feel is immediate and exactly what I was looking for. The keys have a light feel, a consistent resistance throughout the range, an audible (but gentle on the ears), 'click', and the all important tactile feedback. It's a joy to type on.Other reviewers have said the keyboard is loud. Well, either I'm going deaf, or they are half bat, because loud it is not. It's quieter than my previously mentioned keyboard, and way quieter than the average cheaper membrane keyboard. The cheaper keyboards resonate much more (cheaper build quality), and the keys usually have a solid 'thunk', to them - as do the linear keys on my previous board (and that is a fairly decent build quality). This is by far the quietest keyboard I've ever used. The keys promote rather a lighter touch than usual, and they 'tinkle', rather than 'clatter'. The build quality definitely helps here - it's very solid, and neither flexes nor moves when typing, I suspect the solidity helps to deaden the sound. Whatever, it's a joy to type on and my experience is that it's pretty quiet. To sum up, it's a solid build, it looks VERY smart, the led lighting can be set to be quite unobtrusive (and even enhancing!), and it's a pleasure to type on. It's not cheap, but is actually very good value in my opinion. I don't like spending money but I don't regret a single penny of this.I can't honestly give a rating for gaming as I haven't gamed with it yet (though I will). I suspect it will be fine though.Obviously this is all very subjective, I've found a keyboard that suits all my criteria and I'm happy with it. The only thing I can really be objective about is the sound it produces in use - there's not much of it. It's quiet. Not loud. Gentle on the ears.I'm done.

Best keyboard by far
What can I say, it's been the best keyboard till date. The keys are soft, even the slightest touch activates the key. The RGBcolours) are amazing, you can customise it however you like, completely customisable at your own will. I like to leave them low as possible and when touched they turn bright. Love the aluminium body to it. Keeping it strong and elegant. Comes with a wrist bar which is not attached. Highly recommended. Getting use to the use of it as mechanical has a different feel to a standard keyboard which I'm used to.
