Had a great time making the ball, the tool doesn’t work that great so I had to use my fingers. My fingers were bruised for a few days but worth it! The ball is bigger than it looks!

I’m an avid Lego builder so I absolutely love sets like this! However, I will say that this reminds me more of a mini brick build than it does a normal Lego build. For that reason, I wouldn’t recommend it for people with larger hands or any sort of dexterity issues. While I really enjoyed assembling this set, my hands did start to hurt after about an hour of assembly, so I leisurely worked on it a little bit at a time over the course of about two weeks.Fair warning, this set is fairly hard to assemble mainly because there’s only two different colors of bricks so they kind of all blend together. The instructions are very similar to Lego’s visual instructions where it shows you what bricks you’ll need for each step and where they should be placed. However, there are some steps that the instructions seem to skip or way oversimplify so sometimes you kind of have to figure it out on your own. There also doesn’t appear to be any rhyme or reason as to how they separated the pieces into the individual bags. As a result before you start your build, I would highly recommend you open all of the bags and sort the pieces into organized piles. This may take a little while, but it makes the actual build go so much smoother.While this build was definitely challenging, I’m still super glad I got it! Now that’s it’s fully assembled, it looks really cool and is a fun item to display on my bookshelf. I also love that I got so much build time out of it. With some sets, you can literally assemble the whole thing in like an hour and I always kind of feel like I didn’t get my money’s worth when that happens. With this build, I got about two weeks out of it and really got to test my building capabilities. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a fun yet challenging build! Side note, I also got the soccer ball and football versions of this build and thoroughly enjoyed assembling all three of them.

Small pieces, not difficult to put together. This is a nice hobby for those who like the brand blocks; however, these are not placed together the same way. You must follow the instructions.Once finished, it's perfect for display.

Just a perfect gift for a teen that loves basketball as well as legos. He was excited when he opened this as a gift and went to building it right away. Took him awhile to finish it but when he figured out the sequence, he build up his pace and finished it a few minutes after. It is now displayed in his bedroom and has a spot in his shelf.If you have a kid or know someone who loves basketball and legos, don't hesitate to give this one for him/her. I am sure he/she will love it!

We picked this up to put together and display in our son's room since he plays basketball. Upon opening, we knew it would be a bit much for him to put together, so we sorted the pieces and put it together for him.This is not your typical block build so we sorted by color and style (1, 2 connected etc). At first it was a bit tricky to get them together, but once I had the hang of it, the build went along pretty smooth. Like any build, if you push too hard, other parts will pop apart and fall apart, so you need to be conscious of what you are doing.Pieces are small, so I do not recommend if you have dexterity issues or very large fingers/hands.It only took a couple of hours to put together and that was with a few breaks happening. It is a nice size at 5 1/2 inches across its radius. It has a nice weight to it as well.There were extra pieces at the end, so no issues with missing pieces. The instructions were easy to follow if you are used to following other build instructions.I felt it was worth the cost and absolutely hope the company adds a few more sports to the line up.We purchased a display case and will be placing it in his room along with another one that we have.
