You might decide you love it.*NOTE: To enable TTS (text to speech) so that your kindle can read to you without audiobooks, turn on your wireless headphones or speaker. This is my second kindle after my basic, and I will not go back to one that’s smaller than this one haha. The read speed is great, the page flip animation was great for a paper white. Battery life is absolutely amazing. I’ve had it since Feb or March of 2025 and it’s not September, and I’ve only had to charge it maybe less than ten times. I liked the color and the color options, as in the warmth. Very nice. The features made my reading experience amazing.

The new Kindel is well worth the money. It is fast, and is simple to use.The only problem is my new Kindel was shipped without a power cord for charging. The Android power cord does not work, the old Kindel power cord does not work and you are SOL when it runs down from 50% as you receive it from Amazon. The bad part is that the very helpful Amazon people do not seem to be aware of the problem. The cord is an additional 10 bucks or so. And it is the only way to go. You need the cord for the "new model". They ship a cord for the "old model" in the same package, and you can dispose of that. In short, other than this hickup, a good product. Recommended highly.

This was a early birthday gift to myself as I have trouble reading regular books and have missed reading so much. It is small and lightweight. I can just open the cover and there is my story right where I left off. The screen is just right for the brightness and text size can be adjusted to suit my eyesight. IT IS WONDERFUL TO BE READING AGAIN!!!!!! I bought the same color cover to protect my kindle as I want nothing to happen to it. It was the best gift I could give myself.
