Hard to beat given the price
I've purchased several of these JVC headsets, and my wife and I both use them. Battery life is plenty for working out, listening to podcasts while doing household chores, or watching a few hours of shows (3-4 hours maybe?). I also use them any time I'm on a call and they're solid. Sound quality is good, but I will admit that's not the main factor for me.The connection is solid, and I can walk about 10-12 feet from my phone. Once connected, they stay connected. I complain a lot about bluetooth devices being flaky, but these are shockingly not. Daily I'm on calls with people with expensive Apple earpods that seem to disconnect regularly, and it's never been a problem for me with these cheap JVCs.If you're looking for something inexpensive but solid, these are a good choice.

JVC's warranty is 1 year parts/labor...except for the rechargeable battery (only 90 days!!!)
When I received this Bluetooth headset, I was ecstatic with it. It was comfortable to wear, had sufficient volume and (importantly) good fidelity, and (when new) the battery life was more than 4 hours of continuous usage. This last item shrank to be less and less usage time as the headset, albeit lightly used, went beyond 6 months of ownership. As I near the 1 year mark, a full charge does not even give mere minutes of use. The headset simply won't pair any more and immediately powers down. The battery is "toast".Others reviewers have warned about short battery life. I have no battery capacity whatsoever as I add my voice to theirs. Save your money and buy a more expensive Plantronics BT headset. You'll get a product that will last for years in such case.JVC-Kenwood knew exactly what they were doing when the fine print in their warranty covered the rechargeable battery for only 90 days. They had no confidence that it would last a year like the rest of the headset. Avoid this product.BTW, it's also almost impossible to navigate their website to find the street address of their service depot!!!

Works with Yaesu FT3D
I bought these because I found online they work with my Yaesu FT3D and that the middle button works as PTT, it's more of a toggle to talk than a push to talk, but that's OK. (Short press switched radio to transmit, short press then switches it back to receive)For such a tiny device the battery is OK, if you expect to use it for longer buy two, Charge one, use one.The FT3D BT has a pretty bad noise floor on any device it connects to (have some BT it doesn't even play anything on), compared to my helmet headset, this device is a lot better though, so I'm all around happy with it. I think I got my moneys worth on this.

Great sound, doesn't stay in ears well
I got both this JVC and a set of Sbode Wireless Earbuds. The Sbode has much better battery life, and is rock solid at staying in your ears no matter what you are doing. However, I returned the Sbode earbuds because the Sbode sound is terrible. With the Sbode, it sounds like you are listening to your neighbor's steroe through a thick wall. The Sbode sound is very muffled and limited dynamic range, while the JVC is crystal clear. For me the sound quality is most important, so I stayed with the JVC even though they only last 3-4 hours and keep fallin out of my ears despite which set of cushions I use.

JVC Soft Wireless Earbuds Quit working
This is the second pair of these JVC earbuds that I've owned. I sleep in them with a white noise app, & the connected earbuds helps keep me from losing them during the night. The first pair lasted several years, & I only had to replace them when the buttons under the rubber cover eventually gave out.I've only owned this pair since Jan 2023, & they stopped working after a month. At first it was a lot of static in the left side, & then tonight it was just a low hum of static in both buds. I just noticed that I'm about 2 weeks past the return period, so I guess I'll have to buy another pair. But not another pair of these. Time to move on.

Don't waste your time or money. These are terrible.
Reasons not to bother:They never charged fully. There was an exposed wire in the cable which may have been part or all of the problem. The cable connecting the earbuds is so short (shrinkflation?) that the set hangs awkwardly.I'm surprised JVC would put their name on these. I returned them for a refund.

Walking and listening--a two-fer!
I can walk the dog and listen to podcasts now without traffic noise interfering. They work beautifully and are comfortable in my ears. They came with larger earpiece addition, too, but my ears are small, so this is perfect for me. Caution: when out walking, be sure to glance behind in case a car or bike is coming up. These days, battery-run cars can be so quiet, it could be a hazard if they turn while you're going straight across an intersection. These earbuds block sound quite well.
