Works great, excellent quality and feel. Pump creates excellent very strong suction. Very easy to assemble and mount to a clean surface. Highly recommend for interior, exterior car shots. As well as getting creative with mounting it on any smooth clean surfaces. Not overly big or small for what it is.

The Tilta Hydra Alien Mini is life changing compared to the old pump style suction cups. Setup takes less than 30 seconds. Once you’ve used it a couple of times, it’s as easy as pressing one button. It automatically suctions until it hits 100%, and if the level drops to 80% it re suctions on its own. As long as the surface is clean, it locks in solid and you can trust your gear on it. Way more reliable and stress-free than manual pumps. Definitely worth the investment to protect your equipment. It also comes with a solid carrying case that's sturdy and small enough to fit in a bag or bring around with you.

Was super intimidated and worried to be hanging high end camera gear off my car with suction cups. The tilta hydra alien feels super high quality, is very easy to assemble, and a breeze to set up and apply. I've done a few trips totalling over 5 hours of suction. Traveled suburban Westchester County, Rockland County and NYC. Variable speeds up to 80mph and a multitude of weather anx road conditions. I now trust this rig entirely. Used with Insta 360 X5

This actually introduced more vibration into my GoPro car mount footage. Anything over about 20mph causes the wind to vibrate the arm.
