The absolute best game of 2025. The story, the characters, the artwork, the soundtrack, the gameplay, it's all amazing. If you want to play one of the most unique turn-based RPGs ever made by the French, then Clair Obscur is the game for you.

Literally a game changing experience for western developed RPGs. Familiar yet new, hauntingly beautiful, and a masterpiece of storytelling. Gut punches abound as you're playing and the story doesn't stop accelerating once things really kick into gear. The combat takes a bit of getting used to, but once you're comfortable it's second nature and incredible to experience.

I've had so much fun with this game. All I can say is, if you like RPG games and their varieties, then this game is worth trying. The fighting system is turn based with a little extra added, you can counter or dodge enemy attacks by timing them and pressing the correct button. These types of reactions come with all sorts of other fun details. Overall, the game story is excellent, it's beautifully made, and the voice acting is wonderful.

This game is amazing, It is free on Xbox game pass but I still bought a physical copy for my sealed collection.
