Matter provisioning worked perfectly out of the box for use with Home Assistant
One of the standout features of these bulbs is the quick and straightforward setup. Unlike many smart bulbs that require installing a separate app and creating an account, this bulb connects directly through an existing Matter-compatible platform like Home Assistant OS. Simply scan the Matter QR code, and within seconds, it’s ready to use. This approach eliminates unnecessary steps and enhances privacy and security by reducing reliance on third-party cloud services. It worked perfectly as described for my needs. Brightness obviously isn't as good as an 800 lumen bulb, but it seems accurate to the 550 lumen level advertised on the box.

They're good budget bulbs
PSA: Nothing specific to these but if you go whole home smart bulb (or high at all) keep your qr codes on your matter bulbs. I'd suggest a scrapbook and be very detailed with what bulb you're labeling and what you call it in your app. Ex: if you've got a 2 bulb sconce Id name it right sconce east bulb, " " " bulb. At least take pictures of what code goes with what. If you lose power long, or your offspring flips the switch off, you'll need to unscrew the bulb if you didn't come up with some organization system (or do what I did and just stuff them in a drawer with no clue what bulb they match, and later think why do I have all this crap? And you toss it the week you lose power for 5 days. ...Spent almost a day reinstalling all of my light bulbs.) I've had goog luck with lighting side. I've replaced every bulb, with some trial and error they seemed to be the best of the frequent amazon sale products. For some reason, after a power outage, or an accidental light switch flip almost all of mine will catch a gear, but I have to climb up and reset the two small based bulbs on the utility porch, but I have four of the small base lightning side upstairs and they're fine. The porch is totally enclosed but outside of my brick house. I think it is weakness of the wifi signal out there.

Stopped working
I'd have loved to have a good review, as this is one of the few matter E12 bulbs I could find. It worked great for a week but has no suddenly been unresponsive to on/off. I tried pairing it again and same issue.

easy to install using the apple homekit app
You absolutely cannot beat the price of these light bulbs. I currently use the Hue system and a comparable Hue light bulb is approximately 5x higher. Would recommend the Lightinginside system to anyone who wants a smart lightbulb that can integrate into the Apple ecosystem.

Great RGB Bulbs, But Watch Out for Wall Switch Setups
The color and brightness on these bulbs are solid—definitely worth the money for the visual quality. But if you’re using a light socket that’s controlled by a wall switch, be careful. Flicking the switch a couple of times causes the bulbs to disconnect from Google Home, and you’ll have to go through the setup process again. If you can keep them powered on continuously (like in a lamp or smart switch setup), they work great.

Fantastic. Flawless with HomeKit.
Lightinginside is the only company making g16.5 smart bulbs. These are so good, definitely a step up from the previous plain WiFi ones. That one I had to use the smart life app, but the matter ones seamlessly work with my Apple Home app. Set up was a breeze and I had no trouble connecting them — I had tons of issues trying to connect the original plain WiFi ones. These are amazing. These however do not use the thread protocol. It is matter over WiFi. Lightinginside, please make matter/thread bulbs!!!! Until then, these fit the bill! Amazing bulbs.

Be sure you know E12 is the size of smart bulb you are looking for
These bulbs are for a very particular size socket, and not your standard lightbulb size. While they appear to be easily connected to Apple Home and other smart features, without a socket to plug them into, they are little more than window dressing. After buying an adapter, I was able to make these work better. They now function well with iPhone. I would recommend these.

Easy peasy
Set up was a breeze and I really like that I didn't have to download and app and give all my information to the lightbulb company (as so many of the other lightbulbs I've had in the past required)

The light bulb base was so distorted that it blew a fuse in my apartment when I turned the light on.
