A little tricky to fold back up
Haven’t actually used yet but I think it will do the job only gave it 4 stars because it takes a little patience to get it folded back up

Good sweater drier
This very sturdy mesh drier will hold the weight of a heavy sweater and has plenty of room for 1 sweater. Only down side of the sturdiness is that it can take some effort to twist it into its compact storage position. Did not come with a restraining strap to keep it in the folded position so I made my own for safety. Seems like it will last forever.

Excellent, effective, and easy
Fantastic. I use these every laundry day to dry my sweaters and fine tops overnight. Flexible in that I can lay them on the floor wherever I happen to have space in the house in the moment. Compact when put away. I always “capture” the storage loop with the clip when I assemble these for use so I don’t lose it. These dryers are rad - you won’t be sorry.

Great drying rack
I love this sweater dryer. I started off buying one and a year later bought another. I am now purchasing two more so I can "lay flat to dry" more than a couple of sweaters at a time.I find it handy because it stores small, collapsing into a 11x10x1.5 (approximate) circle and storing nicely on a shelf in my laundry room. Also, it pops open easily and can be set on any flat surface large enough. Easy. Convenient. Effective. Durable. (Been using my first one weekly for almost 2 years and can't tell it apart from the one purchased a year later. They both still look new.)Drawbacks? They can be a little tricky to refold after use. Especially at first. After a few times the drying rack 'breaks in' and practically folds itself. My first rack folded easily from the beginning, the second needed that bit of break in time. In my experience, this is what works best...To collapse: Hold the drying rack in front of you parallel to the floor and positioned horizontally. Your right hand should be a little higher than center on the right side and holding on from beneath. Your left hand should hold the left side a little lower than center and grasping from above. Bring your hands toward each other with the right hand moving below/behind the left. The rack should start to collapse on its own and you just follow the movement without forcing anything. It sort of twists around the center point like a figure eight and the two circles of the eight then fold on top of each other. You end up one layered circle which you then secure with the elastic band. (If it doesn't fold easily, try turning it 180 degrees so you're pushing the opposite corner away from you.)Easy peasy once you get the hang of it. And so worth it. I absolutley love this drying rack. So does my cat! He thinks I got him a cat hammock to nap on. :)

Pleasantly practical
I am writing this review because I did not find instructions in previous reviews, at the time I ordered mine, as to HOW to get it to fold back into its original, compact storage shape. Here is that information, which is the whole purpose of this review: * HOW TO FOLD IT BACK UP FOR STORAGE, ONCE YOU'VE OPENED IT FLAT: *Grasp each of the two ends of the oval, and twist your hands in opposite directions, rotating one wrist away from you and the other towards you. In this way, force the frame to bend as though you wanted to make a figure-8 of it. It will begin to "willingly" cooperate, once twisting--into a neat, flat stack of about three loops (so, you will not end up with it in a figure-8, but of course you never did care about actually making a figure-8, you only want the thing to fold neatly).Ta-daaaa!It comes with a handy elastic band to place around it while folded flat, to secure it.Update after a few occasions to use this rack: works great for me. It offers air flow all around the items to be dried. Yes, there is a size limit to what will fit on it, but it is quite practical for single blouses or sweaters if you fold the arms across the front (or back) and have the patience for those extra layers to dry. Some items have room to fit on it without needing to be folded. The rack looks, feels, and handles like a well-made product of quality materials, appropriately robust for its intended purpose, truly. The design is clever and useful.I recommend it!

Overpriced but getting it before Christmas was worth paying more than the other sellers price.
Sturdy when opened, fast shipping.

Collapses under wet clothing
I still have the original quality mesh rack I bought in the 80s, but wanted a fresh one. This was the only version I found & noticed inferior materials upon opening. The tension ring snapped apart & I had to reposition it forcefully. It's not covered in athletic mesh; it's some kind of netting. The straps aren't actually sewn to the frame cover & it can't balance or hold its shape. Yes it was fine drying my wool socks in winter, but just now put a wet crocheted wool sweater onto it - it doesn't stand up, just rolls around or collapses, even in the bathtub. Finally I put the new rack over top of my old rack to brace it. Would return if I'd not waited so long to wash sweaters it was meant for.
