I approached this as an affordable experiment, and have really enjoyed it. Nearly a month in, I've just ordered a batch of grow sponges for my next crop. The pump is quiet, the system easy to maintain and the timer reliable; the two-year warranty seems generous. Features it lacks include manually setting light duration (you have only two choices) and manually turning off the light without also turning off the pump. (You can turn off the pump independently.) Those features, however, would probably make the unit considerably more expensive than the $60 I paid, which I already consider worthwhile. When I age out of outdoor gardening - likely in the not-distant future -- this will give me my growing fix, and could easily be used in a condo or apartment.My first crop, a month in, left to right: parsley, catnip, lettuce and beets. Given that they're a root vegetable, beets were a dumb choice, but I am learning. Right after this photo was taken, I transplanted the catnip -- grow sponges and all -- to soil in three little pots, which I think my cat will appreciate for her indoor fix. Next seedings: borage and romaine. The experiment continues!

I have never gardened in my life… so this was a true test. Watched a lot of videos and learned what was best to start with. I know have the start of a thriving garden!! I planted tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers, sweet peppers parsley, basil and a few more. Everything is taking off and I am so glad I did this. I live in a condo with no patio space, so this is perfect for me. Already transplanted the basil and started more veggies!!

This Hydroponics Growing System is a decent option for beginners.Easy to Set Up: The assembly was straightforward, and the instructions were clear. It doesn’t take up much space, making it a good choice for small kitchens or apartments.Good for Beginners: If you’re new to hydroponics, this system provides a simple way to get started with indoor growing.The issues I previously had were resolved by the customer support.I understand that there is limited space for root growth but looks like this is inevitable after some time in this type of growing systems.Overall, it’s okay for small herbs or lettuce, but if you’re looking for bigger plant, it is a good starter system.

My herb garden is really a great addition to my kitchen. Love the growth rate, the height of the plants and the concept. I separately bought the seeds online - and that element was disappointing - so i will now simply buy relevant seeds at my local grocery store. I intentionally bought a cheaper unit to see if I would like it - thinking that I might eventually buy a nicer designed unit - but this one actually looks very ok and I will likely keep it until it breaks. I suspect that eventually the way the lights are lifted may become the weak point (thin plastic). But a great start kit to get started using herbal gardens.

I ended up buying this product and so far I love it. It started germinating in two days. When buying products like this, make sure it has a name and a store. Also make sure you have a contact you can call or write the other no name hydroponic I bought went out in two weeks. The Ahope garden however, is still going strong! It has sturdiness, was easy to set up, instructions were clear and it’s functional! Not a lot of fuss.

This is the perfect small space indoor growing item. I bought my first one for myself for christmas. I have eaten 20 or more heads of lettuce, cherry tomatoes, bok choy and of course parsley and cilantro. I was also able to start my plants for outdoor garden. Loved this so much I bought more, now have 5 and saving money on produce and much healthier. Easy to operate, my plants are so healthy there is lots of production. You can also grow flowers.

The build quality, ease of assembly makes it ideal for small classroom and Senior Assisted Living use. After initial setup users can plant the supplied seeds with provided tweezers. This is helpful with those lacking fine motor skills. Very good germination rate. With some seed there were 2 inch sprouts in a week meaning the cover caps used to create a greenhouse effect had to be removed. Some seeds took longer but that’s expected. The lamp hieght is easy to adjust. One should use a gentle touch raising the light by the neck. Very impressed with the overall look and quiet operation. Once the pump was covered with the right amount of water the unit was quiet. Them modes of operation are easy to select: germination, blooming. The time on and rest period are preset.
