Klean Heat® Kerosene Alt., 1 Gallon

Its cold & Snowy here in Indiana. We have not used our oil lamps in year's. As my furnace went out 1 week ago having to run heaters that don't always keep up in extreme cold temperatures. This stuff is great, no smell, and a very good price for a gallon. It provides both a heat source, and great lighting. As with anything take safety protections. Keep away from children, & pets, as an accidental spill could cause a house fire. No carbon monoxide fumes, it burns clean.

I used this in a Chinese made diesel heater and it worked great. I didn’t mix any diesel, ran 100% Klean-Strip kerosene and had no issues. The unit stated kerosene could be used instead of diesel. It burns really clean with hardly any smell and 100% clear exhaust fumes. This should allow the unit to run cleaner without the issues of build up that are notorious for ruining the heaters if they aren’t ran at high speed and high heat for at least an hour before shutting them off which is annoying to have to deal with. Great product.

I’ve used this product for several years now. While it does have a mild odor when burning, it’s not too much. I’m sensitive to smell and I can handle the faint kerosene type smell. I feel like it’s a pretty good deal for the price. It burns clean in my oil lamps and hasn’t caused any soot or issues!

K-1 klean heat for our kerosene heater no bad smell while on, gives off a lot of heat,, furnace never comes on when this is lit. reasonably priced. will putchase again !

For me it produced a strong smell and black smoke.. I wouldn’t recommended for indoor use. Also it is not combustible on it own for bio ethanol fireplaces.
