This is not a premium speaker, and it is not a deal at $40. It is a speaker that you would expect to see on the shelf at Ross or Burlington. The build quality is cheap and feels low-end. I played this speaker for less than 3 minutes and boxed it back up. Tinny treble, muddy nonexistent bass, and no midrange to speak of. I wasn't expecting this to reach the levels of sound quality that my old Bose Soundlink gets, but I was expecting a serviceable speaker. This is not a serviceable speaker. I would spend a little more and get something that has a premium feel and at least mid sound.
