Easy Street Women's, Elated Sandal

The back of the heel. It have small feel. And I don’t realize the back over the bend of my ankle. It is very uncomfortable. I’ve only wore them around the house. Thinking it would break them in. I bought them for my sons wedding in June. But I’m not gonna be able to wear them. I did order 2 other styles maybe one of them will work out better.

I really wanted to love these because they are stinking cute but they're not comfy for me. The straps on these are tight which is surprising because the straps on the Amaze Dress Sandal (from this brand) are much wider and more comfy, if you have narrow feet they might work for you. Also, the zipper on the back of these come up super high and jab the back of my ankle which is horrendously painful for the 2 minutes I had them on, can't imagine walking in these all night. Again, the Amaze Dress Sandal didn't have this issue so I think this specific shoe is just an awkward design but it's a shame because these are very cute.

I am giving these shoes 1 star based only on the fact that they are very nice looking shoes. I have regular “wide” feet, but I purchased x-wide just to give my feet room to breathe. As you can tell in the photos my feet look like a busted can of biscuits. These shoes were a little snug out of the box so I wore them for a week to break them in before wearing them to the wedding I was going to. Within the first hour of wearing these the back rubbed a huge blisters on both of my heels, the zipper part comes up very high on the back of your heels. Also the footbed is terrrible, especially if your feet get sweaty, they will slide forward and rub, which also caused blisters on my toes. And don’t even get me started on how tight these were after my feet swelled up after walking around a short time. It is not the shoes fault my feet swelled, however they were so uncomfortable and tight they were cutting the circulation off to my feet. So I do NOT recommend these shoes to anyone who truly has wide with feet, and if you have extra wide feet don’t even bother. These shoes didn’t even really fit like a normal width, more like a narrow. I would’ve sent them back but they were already a (new without box) return from amazon when I bought them dirt cheap and also yuck, I was not going to send back used shoes.

I have wide feet and need to order wide shoes. Even though these shoes are considered “wide” in width they are not made for wide feet. Overall not comfortable and would not recommend if you are looking for wide shoes.

This was for a play. Fit the actress well, but the zipper rubbed a bit; needed just a tiny bit of moleskin on her ankle.
