So glad I bought this!
I literally just got home, opened my Amazon box, and now as I’m typing this, the wrap is around my shoulders and neck, and feels absolutely wonderful. I was rear-ended by a speeding teenager 2 years ago, and have had problems with both arms ever since. I have a partially torn rotator cuff and neck pain. I also have lumbar stenosis and the pain is unbearable. I’ve spent a fair amount of money trying similar products and have really been disappointed. This is the most money I’ve ever spent on one of these, but it’s worth it, because it works. It’s covers both shoulders and my neck at the same time. I can lay my head on it while it’s around my shoulders, and it makes my neck feel so much better. It’s so nice and soft, too. I’ve tried lavender-scented heat wraps before , but could only smell the lavender if I held the wrap up to my nose. With this one, as soon as I opened the microwave door, I got a whiff of lavender - a scent I love. The heating instructions on the box are right-on. I have an 1100 watt microwave, I heated it up for 2 minutes as recommended, and it was perfect. The only complaint I have, if you can even call it a complaint, is it really would be nice to have more than one size. This one covers more area and is shaped better to fit around your shoulders, but it would be better if it was just a bit bigger. I can’t wait to use this on my back. In order to walk from the parking lot to the building I work in, I use a heating pad on my back for the ride in. This one will be much more comfortable and fit better when I’m driving. I’m think I’m going to buy another one for myself for Christmas - then I can do my neck/shoulders and lower back at the same time. I can’t wait to try the eye pillow! Thank you, PhysioCare!!

Wide Coverage- Heats Thoroughly- Best in Peformance
I am just about 30 when I got this and was experiencing some issues due to being a long-term technical work in front of a computer, COVID, lack of movement and developing pain along my trigger points in rhomboid up to my occipital nerves. This definitely was part of the equation to getting my pain in a manageable spot along with PT. I love using this as it cover the important areas in my neck and shoulder.... so I do not have to continuously run back and forth to a microwave with another least-desirable product. I am really avid on doing research before buying things, VERY particular and looked at many different products. This is one of those "stop looking, just buy it and enjoy" reviews. Seriously. The material they use, heat retention, etc is all best in class for the kind of pain relief you'd seek.

Very comfortable to use, and not too heavy
The main complaint I've seen with this product is that it doesn't hold its heat long. I have several heating pads I've made and filled with rice, and they don't hold heat much longer. If you want something that stays warm for an extended period of time, you just need to get an electric product. As for this heating pad, I really like it. My home made ones are just squares or long rectangles. This one is nicely shaped and conforms to my neck and shoulders. I also like the weight of it. As I mentioned, I sew simple packs and fill them with rice. If I made something like this with rice, it would likely hold heat a little longer, but it would be uncomfortably heavy. It's a trade-off that I'm happy with. Just reheat for a minute or so and you're ready to go.I personally suggest heating it up for a minute, then take it out of the microwave and shake it up some, then continue heating at 30 second intervals, shaking it up between each until you get it as hot as you want it. This helps distribute the heat, preventing hot spots that could damage your pad. I would recommend this to anyone needing a gentle heating pad and, now that I've used it and like it, will be getting one for my aunt.

Decent weight and works right away
The design is awesome. I have neck and should pain, but never found anything (before this) to address both at the same time. It's like wearing a teeny weeny weighted cape. It warms up well, and holds heat for about 20 minutes. Within 2 minutes of putting it on, the pain subsided, which is awesome! It's soft and comfortable enough to lay on, and stays in place well. I like that this was unscented! Some have essential oils that are so fragrant or pungent that I can't use them. This works like described - I would totally recommend it to anyone with neck or shoulder pain. The vendor also followed up to see if I had any questions - very happy with this purchase!

Retains Heat Longer Than Expected
When I first opened the heating pad packaging, I immediately noticed a pleasant lavender smell. I prefer my heating pad to be hot, rather than warm, so it took a little longer to get it to the desired temperature. However, once I got it to the right amount of heat, it retained the heat and stayed warm for longer than I anticipated. I appreciate the weight of the heating pad and that it stayed on my shoulders even when I was walking around. It definitely helped to loosen up some tight muscles in my neck and shoulders.

Can't imagine life without it. One of the best health related purchases I have ever made.
I have R.A., this heat wrap increases my mobility, range of motion and reduces pain. The only downside is someone spilled a big cup of coffee with cream and sugar on it, deal breaker. I just ordered new ones. UPDATE--Used the new wraps, and noticed a sharp drop in quality. Not only is the design different, the old one was more densely filled, the filling even feels different, Does not hold heat as well either. Also have to lean against the pack, instead of just setting it in place. Beats a sock full of rice or gel pack. Still helpful but a far cry from the old one.
