A must read book for family's! We read it growing up, and it is so nostalgic. Great stories & even better meanings. So good to have solid books out there for the whole family to read together and grow up with.

Got for my mom. She loves it. Pictures are beautiful. She reads a story a week and can't wait to tell me about it. Makes a great gift for any age.

Love this book. Hardcover, nice illustrations. Written from a veterinarian point of view in well-written language. Doesn't oversimply and talk down to children, so it's definitely one of our favorites. Simple life-like stories about animals.

Sweet stories and beautiful illustrations. We crushed this book. The stories are just long enough for read aloud time and were adorable. One story does talk about death of a cat. Would be good to introduce death to a child in a Gentle way.

I love this book. The stories are beautiful and sad and heartwarming. The pictures are lovely. We have read it countless times and it doesn't get old. If I could only purchase one children's book, this would be the one.
