This meat thermometer lives up to it's claims. It is very durable. It reads the temperature quickly and with great accuracy. The display is legible. The instructions given with the product are good. I am quite fond of this meat thermometer. I have had fancy and cheap meat thermometers in my time, and this one is my favorite. It is so easy to use, clean, and compact.

I’ve been using this thermometer for a few weeks now, and honestly, I don’t know how I cooked without it. The first time I tried it on a steak, it gave me the temperature instantly — like, within a second — and it was spot-on. No more poking around or guessing if my food is done. The screen is super bright and easy to read, even when I’m outside grilling in the sun. I also love that the display flips automatically, so I can hold it in either hand and still read it comfortably. Small detail, but it makes a big difference when I’m moving quickly. Cleanup is simple too — it’s waterproof, so I just give it a rinse under the faucet and it’s good to go. Plus, it turns on and off by itself when I pick it up or set it down, which saves the battery (a nice little touch I didn’t know I needed). The only minor thing is the battery compartment has a tiny screw, so you need a little screwdriver to open it. Not a huge deal, and actually nice to know it won’t pop open by accident. All in all, this thermometer has made cooking so much easier and more fun for me. It feels just as solid and reliable as the expensive ones I’ve seen, but at a fraction of the price. If you like grilling, roasting, or just want to stop guessing in the kitchen, I can’t recommend it enough.

I’ve been a loyal Thermapen One user for a while, but I was always annoyed when I’d cook at my mom’s house and didn’t have a reliable instant-read thermometer on hand. So, I picked up this one since it was much cheaper, and honestly, I’ve been pleasantly surprised. It’s accurate, easy to use, and has a lot of the same features I love in my Thermapen. Is it as fast? No—but it’s not far off. It takes an extra second or two to lock in a temp, but unless you’re standing over a hot grill with impatient guests, it’s really not a big deal. Plus, it’s got some thoughtful touches, like magnets built in, so I can just slap it on the fridge instead of digging through drawers when I need it. The first time I used it at my mom’s, I was grilling chicken thighs, and my brother—who normally just pokes meat with a fork and declares it “probably done”—was fascinated. He kept asking me to check random pieces like we were doing a science experiment. By the end of dinner, he wanted one too. For the price, I’m really happy with it. It’s not replacing my Thermapen, but as a reliable, affordable backup, it hits the mark.

Replaced an existing meat thermometer with this one. I wanted one with magnetic base to stick onto grill stand as that works well for me. Seems to measure accurately and quickly. Getting used to the lower "suggested cooking temp" scale compared to the scale on my old thermometer. I find myself exceeding suggested temps listed on this thermometer because we were satisfied with old "suggested cooking temp" scale. "Motion On" is nice and makes ease of use; but I prefer an on/off button/switch. I move my grill around a lot (which turns on thermometer that is magnetized to the stand) and find I am using batteries quickly compared to my other thermometers. Unit seems durable and is easy to handle with the shape .

It reads temps quickly. It has a muted "stealth" aesthetic for when you really need to grill at night without being seen. It's also waterproof for underwater grilling. Using it is easy: Flip out the stabby bit and it turns on automatically, stab your meat, check if it's the temp you want then proceed to devour your meat, or let it cook a bit longer for more doneness. This is an almost required tool for cooking certain things like thick roasts or lamb, where temperature is very important in getting the results you want.

Use this thermometer not only for barbecuing but also for oven temperature control. It is simple and easy to use. The probe makes it easy to penetrate foods on the grill and out of the oven. Large digital temperatures are displayed and go off when probe is returned to original position. Definitely recommend.
