It is not complicated to put together but there are a lot of steps and a lot of parts. My students were able to do so with minimal input from me and they learned a lot while doing so. This is a very well-designed model and being able to see the action of the valves and pistons can lead to great learning experiences. We had fun putting it together and having it on display in my classroom has piqued the interest of my students from other classes as well. I was impressed with the quality and workmanship of the parts.
