Hydra Balance Smart Moisturiser (Comb. Skin)

I've been using VMV products for over 2 1/2 years now, and they've really changed my life! Before finding VMV I had contact dermatitis which manifested as an itchy rash on my face. It's been suggested to me by several dermatologist that this is an allergy caused by overuse of certain products that contain allergens. This VMV moisturizer (and really their full product line) is awesome because it contains mostly coconut oil and is tested both in vivo and in vitro so I always feel very confident that my skin will not react. The price point is high but you really get what you pay for in this case. I will say this moisturizer was perfect in the winter, but as summer is heating up and getting more humid (I live in the Washington, DC area), it's a bit heavy for what I need. I'm considering switching to one of their lighter products for the next few months.

Great moisturizer! I have very oily and acne prone skin and I thought I would never encounter a moisturizer that would NOT break me out. After trying this one, I was proven wrong. In fact, I think the monolaurin in it controls acne and the inflammation associated with it. This is very gentle and it does not make my face greasy unlike all the moisturizers I have tried but also does not lack the ability to hydrate the skin sufficiently. Although it is expensive, the quality speaks for itself. I will definitely repurchase after I run out.

The product is excellent!! You have sent me 2 creams with no expiration date stamped on them. I will have to return. I have very sensitive skin and can’t take a chance I am putting expired cream on my face.

This product has saved me! I am a very allergic person, and the VMV Products have been my savior! I have been using their Skin Care Steps - Cleanser, Toner & Moisturizer for a couple of weeks with great success! I will stick with these forever!!!! My Face has actually started to heal, and looks much better!

OK, but not worth the price

Received soon to be expired tube.

I have combination skin and it's very hard to find a moisturizer that nourishes the dryer areas of my face without turning the oilier parts into an oil slick. This moisturizer does the trick, absorbs quickly into the skin and can be used both day and night, under makeup and all on its own.

You can use very little and it spreads well. Make face feel moisturized but not greasy.

The item I received was expired. Rec'd on 13 July 2021. Item expired in September 2020! I was really disappointed as the product itself is really first rate!! To add insult to injury, refunds only available upon return. Why should a customer incur postage charges when fault lies with seller!
