Perfect! Does what it does. After waiting for over a year for the OEM, I found this. Solid aluminum nor plastic. No worries about it breaking or stripping plastic threads. EZ install with a helper. A bit pricey but I'll never have to buy another.

This doggie door takes a load of abuse from a Pitty Lab mix and an Irish Wolfhound Lab mix (both were not around when I installed this door for our terrier and poodle. Any who, the plastic bracket busted a few months ago making it difficult to properly install new flaps that the Wolfhound destroys about every four months. The metal bracket is a perfect fit and has endured the beasts.

Works good, fixed the issue. I thought it was a bit pricey for what it is though. Its just a little strip of metal. That is why I only gave 4 stars.

Perfect. Came with special screwdriver that made it too easy to install.

Great product. Better than the original plastic ones that come with the door. The plastic ones always break. Also come with washers that keep the screws from tearing through the plastic door.

This bracket is great. Way better than the plastic replacement part from Petsafe. Doesn't get dry or brittle with heat or temperatures. All parts included to install. Just need a screwdriver.

THIS is how it should have made from the start! The replacement piece is perfect. It is metal instead of cheap plastic and the screws come with washers. It really should have been made with these parts to begin with.
