It's small, compact and easy to transport. Works well and doesn't require any installation. Upload and download speeds are great.Would get 5 stars but it is not optimized for Xbox Series S so not all games can be played directly from the hard drive. Games can still be stored but need to be transferred over to the device's internal storage to be playable.

I've bought this Seagate HDD twice—once for myself to offload large files and run The Sims 4 (with plenty of mods), and again for my mom for similar use. It's durable, performs consistently, and the price stayed reasonable both times, even with a year between purchases.It doesn't overheat, even while running a heavily customized game, and keeps pace without issue. Solid quality for the price. I'd recommend it if you need a reliable external hard drive.

I'm a photographer and we're always using storage for our images and if you shoot raw images the space they take up can get out of hand. This 5 TB storage is the largest I have outside my desktop.
