Conair Double Ceramic 1/2-Inch Curling Iron, 1/2-inch barrel produces spiral curls – for use on short to medium hair

Bought the 3/4 inch iron and it gives my hair the tighter curl I was looking for. I have curly hair and need to "fill in" some of the frizzy parts. This iron works amazing. I have shoulder length hair and the rod length is perfect as well. I also like that is has a rounded end which makes curling easier. Not a fan of the ones that have an angled tip as they are difficult to use. Hair stays in place in the clip yet slides and wraps without issue. Heats up quickly. I set it at the highest heat setting. Have not used the turbo button as I get all day curls without it. This one is a great iron at a great price!!

Bought this for my teenager for Christmas and it’s seems to do its job. She enjoys this curling iron. The color is cute and the grip on the handle is a bonus. I enjoy the heat control options so she doesn’t burn herself. Quality is great and durable.

It works well but the stand is very small. It does not sit securely on the counter.

Perfect for travel, dual voltage. Heats up really fast easy to operate. Got my hair the way I wanted it bouncy and smooth. Lite weight. No issues so far

I needed just a simple, cheap, basic little hair curling iron that wouldn't destroy my fine, fairly short hair when I need to just coax a little section to behave. I couldn't believe the prices for some of those products!But this product was more in line with the cost I was expecting. Is it doing an ok job?Yes, it is doing well.I like the kickstand that holds the hot barrel off the counter top.I like that I can easily control the heat, providing only the amount I need.It feels solid enough, built of decent components.It's just what I wanted.

I was sad to return this but within 10 minutes of use, my hair got caught in the clamp screws and the prop notch at the top of the iron several times, and I couldn’t avoid hitting the on/off buttons a couple of times.All of my hot tools have been conair over the years for their great price, durability, and quality, but this one missed.I have long hair so this barrel was too short, though average length barrels have always been fine. The barrel didn’t glide well on my hair either. I also don’t love that the clamp spring is visible; it makes me think hair could get caught in there, too.For $20, it’s fine. It heats up quickly and produces pretty waves, but the worst part is the exposed screws on the clamp because they catch hair so easily.

I recently got my long hair cut off to just below my shoulders. I have a wand I love for the top layers, but getting the underneath and back was too hard at this length. Went looking for something similar but with a clip. Hoped this would fit the bill and it works beautifully. Heats up quickly. The grip is comfortable. The curls last all day.I highly recommend it!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Works great, heats up quickly even without using turbo option. Just wish the lowest temp was even lower. Lowest temp is pretty hot.
