So I guess "mini phones" are having a moment? If you're already bored with an inedible $5 "Mini brands" cheeseburger, a $50 mini phone seems like the next logical step. This IS a functioning unlocked Android phone, and for that reason and for that price, you really can't get much lower than $30-40 (thinking of all the little kids' toys my daughter has that have a tiny screen and some simple apps). This could be alright for two things: - An over-the-top toy, not necessarily with real cell service. - An emergency backup phone you keep in the car or something for when your real phone gets unexpectedly broken and you have SOMETHING to transfer the SIM card until you get your next one. Or maybe to call 911 (no SIM required as far as I know). I can't think of any good reason to use it in the way you'd use a "real" smartphone. What few apps you can download to it (and that's going to be limited by the outdated Android version) are very very tiny and UI might not even work. Typing is pretty hard with your finger. Photos are NOT HD like the obviously-acting guy says in the main video. They are 2005-flip-phone quality at best. Yes, the model appears to have 5 mini versions of a top-of-the-line Samsung phone, but only one of them is a real camera, the rest are just decorations. (I didn't expect them to be real, but... neither should you!) The selfie camera is even worse than the rear-facing camera, and videos come out too dark to see well. You can watch YouTube videos on it and they're *watchable* but not with great sound of picture quality - again, like a 2000's flip phone. I wasn't expecting anything better for this price, size, and description. (By the way, it's pretty thick. Like, thicker than some full-size smartphones. Like the girth of an iPod Mini). So if you want a tiny prop phone and need it to have some basic level of interactivity for... IDK... barbie stop-motion movies? Some other gimmick? Then you already have your mind made up; they're probably all the same quality with different shells to look like different flagship phones. As a serious backup phone, I'd suggest getting a full-sized pre-owned cheap phone for a similar price. And if you don't intend to use it with a paid SIM card, get one of those $30 prepaid Trac-fones at your local retailer and never activate it. -- Bonus complaint (and the reason it's 3 stars, not 4, 'cause I was going to give all the other limitations a pass for likely being a gimmick) - I have some privacy concerns. The built in "Browser" - it's not Google Chrome, and when you try to use it, it requests Camera, Audio/Video, and File access permissions. If you deny any of them, it will not let you use the app. That seems very strange for a browser - maybe some website won't work as intended, but I should be able to browse simple URLs without having my audio/video recorded. This mini phone product seems like an ideal way to sneak spyware into devices people will leave laying around but connected. I'm not saying it *definitely* is, but it definitely *could* be. So... another thing to be careful about! At the very least, turn it off / disconnect when not in use.

This mini phone is super small and actually functional. I only use it over WiFi and don’t use any of the apps on it because I am unsure of the actual amount of privacy on here. It does take pictures, but they are super grainy like a kids play camera… it’s a good back up to have in your car for emergency services calls but definitely not an every day phone.
