It hides the “UGLIES” well.
I was going to give it 4 stars because it’s kinda flimsy for the price, and the directions are terrible but the finished product is PERFECT for our needs so it gets 5 stars!I searched for weeks to find something that would hide the disaster that the cable/internet company left me on my living room wall.To say I was p*ssed off was an understatement. As you can see from the picture, is was an eyesore and couldn’t be removed because they drilled through our entire wall to the cable outside. I needed to hide this mess. I found plenty of wall mounted wifi/router boxes, but none were big enough to hide this monstrosity. Then I found THIS!!I was considering building something, or spending a lot more $ and then cutting/ modifying it so it had an open back and plenty of ventilation. This though was EXACTLY the right size, plenty of ventilation and had an open back to slide it up against the wall. The shelf inside was adjustable so we could make sure everything fit, with room to spare. IMPORTANT NOTE: I am adding that you really need to determine your shelf position before you complete the top/sides!! The shelf is semi- permanent once finished. You’ll need to take it all apart if your shelf is too high/low. Save yourself the headache and measure first.I might hide a game console in there next. The wires all stay hidden and everything is tidy. The directions are terrible and only have one-liners in English, but the photos suffice in getting the puzzle pieces together. You should use a rubber mallet to tap the pegs into the groves, but a hammer and thick cloth will work too. The direction don’t say, but there are several of the medium sized screws that go into the sides, 4 on each side that really stabilizes it. It comes with white screw covers that camouflage the screws (see picture). You can mount the cabinet to the wall, but I didn’t have a need for that. All in all it was the ONLY product I found that fit our need and I am very happy with the end result!

Happy with the end result, pretty frustrating to assemble
I gave this four stars because the finished product looks pretty good. However, this thing was a pain to assemble. The directions are absolutely atrocious. The directions fail to explain pretty much everything. You have to try, and follow the pictures closely. Also, the price of this unit, is a bit high. Personally I don't think it should cost more than $50-60.Tips:Ensure your installing the magnetic tabs in the right direction. Also, make sure the side plates are facing the front with the screw holes for the door hinges. I didn't realize this, and had to dis-assemble the entire unit to flip the side panels. Another reviewer provided a good tip which the directions fail to mention. After the the unit is fully assembled, there are six screw holes on each sides of the unit. Each side respectively has two at the top, two in the middle, and two at the bottom. Use the long screws that come with the packaging and fill those holes. It will definitely add more durability to the unit. Then you can use the provided screw caps to cover the screws.Overall I'm pretty happy with the end result, minus the frustration of putting the unit together, as well as the price.

DEFECTIVE
First off, this comes with too many parts, too many screws, and the instructions are cramped, hard to read and make out what is to be done.AND THEN...Step One: Install the door magnets on the fixed plate and bottom panel...The magnets cover part of the holes to the next step...Second Two: Connect the uper plate and fixing plate and Connect the lower plate and bottom panel. There are tabbed areas on the upper plate and lower plate. The tabs cannot go into the holes to connect these parts for two reason...One reason is that the magnets cover half of the center holes, so if the next reason was not an issue, this is an issue.Second reason is that the tabs are bigger than the holes they are to go into, so this cannot be done.I have contacted Amazon and am returning the items for a refund. This is absolutely ridiculous!

Well made; sturdy
This was much easier to put together than I expected, based on other reviews. There is no way you can break this unless you use a hammer to make the fittings join together. Either invest in a rubber mallet or put a block of wood between the hammer and the pieces. This material is something like solid plastic. Not flexible plastic but very very thick. If it were MDF, the assembly would break it. Not this material. Build quality is great. The only hiccup I had was that i put the sides on opposite of how they should be so the predeilled holes for hinges were on the outside but needed to be inside. I just drilled thru the holes to the other side and used their screw plugs to cover my mistake. You get more screws than you really need for this. It is so sturdy that the compression fittings do not even need screws. Just needed for the hinges and magnets and knobs, unless you hang it and put heavy items inside. I am putting 8 amps. I cannot imagine having a weight issue but i have screws if needed. Great product

Meh
Ok to put together but trying to follow the instructions is difficult. I somehow installed it upside-down and really don't want to try and fix it because the screwdriver it comes with is awful. Would be easier to put together if there were letters on the actual pieces

Great storage
Great storage and place to hide all your cable boxes and cords. Fairly easy to put together and material is as expected for the price point. Happy with the look and coverage. Would recommend.
