Primary Composition Book: With Story Space and Dotted Mid Line Grades K-2 Unicorn Notebook For Girls

Bought this for my 6yo for kindergarten. I was a bit afraid it would have cheap, thin paper (like notebook paper) which would tear when she pressed too hard, but it's not. It's sturdy paper and she loved the unicorn.

The book wasn't as sturdy as I expected it, but it was the perfect first book for writing for my child. Now she's writing correctly in the lines. And she's the type to mash up a book but it's been holding together after 20 pages. So it was definitely worth it.

We use this to practice writing my 5 and 4 year old daughters' names. I start a picture with a cue of some type and then write their name, and now numbers. In the morning after cereal they write their name out underneath as well as 0-9 to improve handwriting and then they can finish the drawing. Way more fun than nagging them about practicing their letters and numbers.

Good spacing for pictures and large lines for early writers. My 1st graders do very well with these.

While I was looking for a landscape profile, this has been helpful in having my 3 year old practice her name

My daughter LOVES her comp book! She’s the only one in her class that doesn’t have the boring plain one. She thinks she’s so cool :)
