Q: Further to my last question - this is listed in the title as *smoked* Maldon sea salt. You are saying this is incorrect?

The salt I’ve received is not smoked.

Q: It says "imported by ..." - where is this imported from? i thought it was salt from maldon, uk?

The salt is definitely from Maldon (as printed on the box) but it has been imported as foreign writing on the box too. I think it is possibly Germany, so quite a journey but I can assure you the product is authentic.

You can try going onto chat and asking an Amazon (amazing) Customer Service agent what your options are. If you're in the UK, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Oct 2015 are that you are entitled to return or receive a refund for goods you order which are 'not as described' .. Hope this helps.

Q: Is this salt ok for a salt mill?

Probably. It breaks up fairly easily. You might need to give it a jiggle from time to time if a big flake gets caught up in the works.
