Color That Pops Without the Damage – Thanks, Adore
I’ve tried a lot of hair dyes over the years, but Adore Semi-Permanent is by far my favorite. The colors come out vibrant, rich, and true to the shade shown on the bottle. What I love most is how gentle it feels—there’s no harsh smell, no burning sensation, and it actually leaves my hair feeling softer and more conditioned afterward. The application is super easy, and the color payoff is amazing even without bleach on my darker strands. It fades gradually and evenly, so I don’t get that patchy, washed-out look that other brands sometimes leave behind. Plus, it’s affordable enough to experiment with different shades whenever I feel like switching things up.If you’re looking for bold, beautiful color that’s kind to your hair and budget, I definitely recommend giving Adore a try.

Adore Me Some Adore—Fantasy Hair on a Budget with Indigo Blue Magic
Let me tell you: I’ve been on a personal journey through the rainbow, and Adore has been my trusty sidekick the whole way. I’ve been buying their fantasy colors off Amazon for a couple years now because a) I only dye my money piece, and b) I like to switch it up more than a toddler in a Halloween costume aisle. My most recent adventure? Indigo Blue. This shade is chef’s kiss if you want that deep, ocean-at-midnight vibe. It starts out looking like you stole pigment from Poseidon’s favorite cloak. It is semi-permanent, though, so don’t expect it to cling to your hair like your cat clings to the warm laundry. I got a solid couple of weeks before it started fading into a soft pastel seafoam vibe—not bad, just a different kind of cute. The fade is gentle, not patchy or weird, and it never made me look like I lost a battle with a Smurf. Now, let’s talk consistency. This dye is not watery like those runny nightmares from some other brands. It stays put, which is great when you’re trying to paint your hair, not your bathroom walls. Plus, each bottle is 4oz and you get two—a total steal for under $10 depending on the shade. That’s salon color price on a ramen noodle budget. Here’s my own Adore color lineup:Rich Eggplant, African Violet, Violet Gem, Purple Rage – All queens in their own purple way. Long-lasting, vibrant, and fade like a dreamy pastel.Neon Pink – WARNING: It's so neon you might start glowing like a Vegas sign under a blacklight. Not actually glow-in-the-dark, but close enough.Jet Black – Ehh... the one I wouldn’t recommend. Fades fast and gives a weird greenish cast. Use a true permanent black if you’re going dark-dark.Back to Indigo Blue—while it did fade faster than the purples, I still loved it. The blue washed out beautifully and didn’t stain my bathroom like an abstract art project gone wrong. Oh, and it’s vegan, cruelty-free, and free of ammonia, peroxide, and alcohol, so my money piece stays shiny and happy instead of fried and crunchy. In short: If you’re fantasy-dye curious, broke-ish, non-committal with color, or just a long-time color addict like me—Adore is the move.

Love it ! Vibrant
The media could not be loaded. I love these products. I bought 4 different shades for my daughter and I to mix and match and have fun with. She mixed sapphire blue with blue black, and I mixed African violet with indigo blue. They both turned out really well! We both did the peekaboo style (ive been doing it for months on my own and she wanted to give it a try, it was much easier doing hers 😆) I separated her hair and bleached the underneath half first and then applied the color. Get it as light as you can for more accurate color. It definitely stains your hands and fingernails for a few days lol. The video here is of my hair showing the mix of indigo blue and African violet. I used about a total of one bottle, I did half of each . Will probably cut the amount of blue down to 1/4 , and 3/4 violet next time as I was really aiming for a deeper purple with blue undertones ( i was previously using arctic fox purple AF but it tends to tone down to pink when it starts to lighten which is what I didn't want, so I switched to this brand because their purple has blue undertones.). But you can definitely see a little bit of purple shimmer, still turned out really pretty and I love it. I bleached my top half and tone it with wella t16 polar ice as it has purple/icy tones in it. The one thing I did notice with this brand and with any other semi permanent brand that i've used, including arctic fox, is that it will not dye your natural roots. You need to bleach it for the color to stick. Like I said, the lighter the better. If you want something that will penetrate through your natural hair, then get a permanent color. The bleach opens up the hairs cuticle to allow the color to deposit easier. Apply this on clean dry hair for best results. I will be purchasing again.
