This item is well-suited to its purpose of directing vacuum to smallish, precise areas, but it DOES NOT fit Dyson cordless vacuum sticks. I own a "Dyson V15 Detect Absolute," but the adapter that comes with this item cannot connect the two. Luckily, an inexpensive adapter connects the Dyson with this item through a 1.25-inch universal connection. The adapter I bought: LANMU Attachment Adapter Compatible with Dyson V6-V15.

A very useful tool to get to awkward places with the vacuum cleaner.

It seems the smaller the tube the less suction I get. I expected this to afford me good suction power, especially since it is hooked up to a high quality vacuum, but the suction through these tiny hoses is pitiful. I am so disappointed. Does not help me clean my sewing machine as well as I had hoped.

I smile when I read all the negative reviews. Not too great quality? Yes, but what do you expect for $5.99? Not too great suction? The suction is sufficient to suck small particles and dust up. That's what the kit is designed for - for small particles and dust. The valve does not completely close? Yes, but if it did, the electric motor of your vacuum cleaner you attach the kit to, might burst as the motor is not designed to suck through so very narrow hoses. Not too great smell? Keep the kit in the original plastic bag, and the smell won't linger around,I am happy with the kit. It is low cost. It fits every vacuum cleaner in the house (two uprights, a shop vac and a handheld). The kit works for what it is designed for. Does the job well. Does not take much space in my closet. Has every type of nozzle imaginable. The nozzles can be combined in a number of ways. The smell is alright (I don't sleep with the kit next to my bed).What else can I expect? It is definitely a useful toolkit to have.Five stars!

The small parts are fine, but the long hose to connect them is so sticky that it’s unusable. It’s covered in this stickiness, and anything it touches (including your hands) will stink and be sticky no matter how many times you scrub your hands. It was made incorrectly, and it’s off-gassing so bad you can’t even be in the same room with it because of the stink. I tried washing it, and it did nothing. I’m going to let it off-gas in my garage for a few weeks, but I doubt it will help. Disgusting product. Buyer beware!

I got this to clean my window tracks. I have found a million uses for these! Great for cars too. They fit on my fort devil, which has a standard size hose, 1 1/4” I think.

I originally purchased one of these from my local sewing machine store. They charged a ridiculous amount. There is this one part where you can adjust the suction rate. The problem is that it will not close up all the way so the suction is either bad or worse. The good part is that it came with a hose adapter. For some reason Bissell makes their hoses an unusual size. Anyway, I returned it.After much looking around I can back to this item that I purchased from EZ Spares. I greatly appreciate the price. I used duct take to plug the little air holes so now it has decent suction. And the length of flexible hose is nice, making it easy to move around when trying to find all of the lint in my serger and sewing machine. Personally I would love it if someone could explain to me why it was made so there is not much suction. But, since I found a work-around, I'm all happy now.Thanks EZ Spares!
