Excellent Value on the only incense I use for my daily Pranayama/Meditation practice!!! I use the leftover dust in an Aladdin’s lamp burner in the bathroom. Nothing wasted. 2-250gm boxes cost less than I was paying for 1 at the store. Sweeet!!

I have been using Satya Sai Baba Nag Champa incense for many years, and it remains my absolute favorite. I did ask my seller before buying this time if they were shipping out the real BNG version, because I got burned last time I bought incence from amazon. The other seller wouldn't make it right, and the marketplace rules did not protect me. I am trying to get resolution through my credit card. But, because the BNG version of this incense (as pictured on this listing) is divine, and I love it, (and I cannot get it locally) I tried again, and communicated with the seller I chose ahead of time to be sure I got the genuine Bangalore version, and not the cheap, stinky knockoff Mumbai version the other seller shipped out under a listing explicitly claiming to sell the BNG version.The Bangalore and Mumbai versions are very different, so be sure that if you get the BNG version, you will not be disappointed. The aroma is warm, floral, and slightly earthy, with none of the chemical pong of the cheap kind.It is worth it to be sure that you get exactly what is listed here, and not accept cheap substitutions that are nothing like the original. This version is also hand-rolled using only natural resins and ingredients, whereas the other is machine-rolled using a charcoal and other petrochemical and artificial ingredients that are more harmful to air quality when burned. It is a shame that the cheap Mumbai version is allowed to use almost identical packaging, because it opens up the window for cheaters to sell you something different that what you are looking for, and pay no price for their actions, so beware. But there are good vendors here who will provide what you seek, if you are careful and specific. :)

My understanding is that there are 2 versions of Satya 'Nag Champa' incense: Mumbai and Bangalore. The Mumbai version will have both it and a Bangalore address printed on the box, whereas the Bangalore version only has a Bangalore address... I think, hopefully I am not adding wrong information. The Mumbai version is supposedly inferior. I cannot tell either way. I’ve ordered this brand of incense twice (from different sellers), this time hoping to receive the Bangalore version as pictured, just to see what the hype is about. Is it really “better”? I received a Mumbai product which is why I took off 1 star, because I did not receive exactly what was depicted in the listing photo.I am far from an incense snob yet I’m satisfied with the incense I did receive. I simply hoard incense and buy in bulk wherever possible, don’t judge me 😉 The sticks burn for approximately 40-45 minutes. This order’s incense smells a bit sweeter than my previous order. Not artificial chemicals, thankfully! In my opinion, slight variability is to be expected among different batches, for instance, maybe this batch has more of flower X and less herb Y than previous batch, say, made last month. There are no lot or batch numbers, not even a date of manufacture to compare, which would be awesome if either Satya company would consider doing that in the future.So: If you are seeking out an exact product, I recommend you buy from a brick and mortar shop instead of gambling among dozens of Amazon listings and sellers.
