Handheld retro gaming system
A pleasantly surprising little retro console, after a bit of tweaking.I'd recommend getting a 128gb sd card for the 2nd slot though, and make sure its branded(same with slot 1,the cards that come with it are pretty dire). It plays most games up to Dreamcast, but it can be a bit hit and miss sometimes. The software that comes on it is ok,but I'd reinstall with something else(Youtube is your friend for this). The buttons and controls are responsive(though the back triggers are placed a bit wierd, but still usable). All in all its a fun little handheld, easy to slip in a pocket, and passes time(a lot of time, actually)

A great time passer.
Great little handheld, feels good to hold, the sound quality is reasonably good but i would recommend earphones, screen size isn't an issue and becomes un noticeable once immersed in a game. I've tried a few games that won't load and alot of the high res games like Gta vice city and ridge racer are unplayable due to the lag but most of the platform games work fine. Alot of dupe games on there too.Overall 👍👍👍

Excellent screen and performance for its price range but with one big caveat
The media could not be loaded. I almost loved this product. And there is a lot to love. The screen on it is incredible for it's price range. Every positive here I could qualify with 'for its price range' - this thing really does punch above its weight. Audio is clear and loud - it's just a shame that it's mono.If you're not familiar with emulator handhelds - it's basically a lightweight operating system that boots into Emulation Station to provide a menu system to load games. When you select a game the correct emulator loads - normally a 'core' in Retroarch or a stand alone emulator. If you've used Retroarch in the past you'll be right at home here - in fact in many ways it's useful if you are familiar as there's quite a few tweaks you can make to get this thing running perfectly. The menu system they have included here is excellent - with full artwork per system etc. It even adds in artwork for any systems you add games for later. Adding games is done easiest by shutting down the device and removing the game SD card and connecting it to your PC. There's a full folder structure there to drop your games into.Talking of SD cards - this device has two. There's a 32Gb card for the OS and a 64GB one for the included games. These cards are unbranded so I would really recommend making a backup of these (balenaEtcher is a good option for this).Okay - so controls. Although an odd layout - face controls are actually fairly comfortable. The buttons feel a little 'tall' but you get used to them. The analogue sticks are fantastic for a device like this - they feel very much like the ones on Switch joycons. Shoulder buttons/triggers are placed on the back in a row. These are a pain and are quite firm to press. Not a great experience but again - something you can work around.Something I couldn't work around however was the D-pad. This is by far the worst D-pad I have encountered. You have to press at the very edge of the D-pad for the direction to register. How on Earth do you do diagonals on a plus shaped d-pad when you have to press right at the edge? Exactly...and this is the reason I have refunded my purchase. So why the 4 star review? I specifically bought this to play my 2 favourite genres of games - shmups and fighting games - a D-pad is a necessity really. The thing is everything else you can play with the analogue controls. I'd imagine most casual players will gravitate to that anyway - and with the performance on offer here and the gorgeous screen I'd feel guilty rating lower.

Doesn’t load into operating system
Very annoyed. The cards provided with this item don’t seem to load the operating system at all I’ve only managed to get into ark OS once in nearly 20 power ups!! Frustrating!!!!!
