Athlon Cronus ats pro thermal scope.
Athlon makes great optic's! The price point and quality are excellent. There are a lot of cool features on this optic, and it’s pretty easy to setup. If you haven’t heard of Athlon, they make really well built optics. I also own one of their prism optics, and it’s fantastic. If you are on the fence about any Athlon optics, don’t hesitate buying one. They are worth more than what you pay for.

Very cool optic!
At first glance, the build quality is fantastic. I have a couple of conventional optics from Athlon, their customer service has been great and the optics are phenomenal, especially for the price. This unit is light, almost like a normal scope, which was very surprising as my older night vision optics are like anchors. The menu functions are easy to access, the app seems intuitive, and there are several great reticle style and color options that should make it easy for just about anyone to use.One tip, to register the 5 year warranty, it states that the serial number is "on the bottom of the optic", which is not exactly true. The serial number tag is actually on the inside of the forward objective lens cover. The barcode on the serial sticker does not take you to their registration site, nor does it populate the number in the online form, so be prepared to magnify it to make it easier to enter.I'm looking forward to playing with it a bit more, it's a very interesting piece of equipment, especially with the roughly $700 price point!

Good for the price
Clarity and accuracy is nice, settings are very confusing but I should get used to it

Great Deal
Refresh is slow, but that the ONLY drawback. I have identified hot spots in the Olympic rain forest. The optics are clear and the operation is simple. Excellent choice for the budget conscious.

The instructions are unclear and great if you work for Athlon. I worked for an hour to get my rifle sighted in and gave up. I'll try tomorrow again. It works but sighting in is important.

Great Value Thermal.
The media could not be loaded. 5/5 for now!I have not taken it hunting yet so I will update if I find something worth speaking out on. As for initial thoughtsINCREDIBLE value for the price I got it at. Even for MSRP it thinks it competes with any of the entry level thermal from AGM RIX etc. etc. Quality is perfect. Light and sturdy and super easy to operate. Clarity i attached a video so you can see how incredible it is. The deer was roughly 55 yards I am confident you can take shots out to 150 yards clearly. It is a clip on so i will see if it holds ups on my 6.5 Creedmoor when I take it out for some hogs. Good job Athlon! I am happy with my purchase.
