Quality Product and Multi-Age Appropriate
The book is of very high quality and seems like a great place to start if you want to get familiar with watercolor painting. I choose this one after reading through several reviews of different books of the same style; I am glad this is the one I picked. My granddaughter has really been into crafts since she has been young, she is now 11 going on 12 and getting away from just doing crafts for the sake of doing them. I thought maybe it was time to introduce her to one hobby/craft at a time to see if see has an interest in it. I bought her this book, the pictures to practice on are pre drawn and easy. I also bought good paint, a video tutorial and all of the recommended supplies that were in the book to give her the best possible chance at success for watercolor painting. If it is not for her, we will move onto something else but at least she will know!I would definitely recommend this book to anyone wanting to give watercolor painting a go.

Great practice book
I’m enjoying this water color coloring book. I use this book to practice controlling the water colors and handling my brush/ improving hand eye coordination. The paper is thick water color paper. Great for a beginner. I would recommend this product. The pics are very nice too!

Decent watercolor coloring book, but perhaps a little pricey for the contents
This book has 3 sections, the beginning includes 4 full color pages with basic information on watercoloring such as brushes, paper, masking, watercolor pencils, so on. Then there are 8 pages to be colored which are in a style similar to the cover and on what seems to be cold press watercolor paper based on the texture, although the texture is a little weird it is almost like lines rather than the typical random texture of watercolor paper. The lines on the drawings are in gray and the pages are perforated. The final section is 4 pages of full color instructions to paint the individual pages so they look like the completed pages shown on the inside of the back cover.

It's just a coloring book
I thought this would be more of a how to make watercolor flowers. Like easy brush strokes to create roses or sunflowers. No- it's just a coloring book for watercolor. The artist does provide hints like she separates the leaves (by leaving white space) to give them the appearance of more definition, but there is no real flower CREATION here. Just coloring. I also disliked how the pictures in the beginning showed all different types of watercolor paints, but she only labeled and used the most expensive ones.

A fun Book
I wanted to test some watercolor brands and thought this book would be a great place to try them on watercolor paper. It was a great idea. Less boring to see what different watercolor brands do and gave me an opportunity to refresh my color theory as far as color combinations go. Quality paper and beats those books that call themselves "color books" which I find boring and don't have the paper quality as does this one. Relaxing and self informing.

Helpful and pretty, though rather expensive
Nice book, clear helpful guide to beginning with watercolours. 4 stars and not 5 because I do feel that at nearly £9 it’s on the expensive side for its content.
