The picture does not do these hair ornaments justice. They are beautiful.

Really pretty
Absolutely love these and have had so many people comment on how pretty they are! A couple are a little too heavy for my hair (it's quite fine) but I would still recommend

Just beautiful!
These arrived quickly and are beautiful. Really easy to use and offer an excellent alternative to the usual scrunchie or claw grip. I now use them daily.

3 have already broken
Unfortunately, one arrived with a pearl broken off and the long straight one came apart as soon as I tried to put it in my hair. There's two others that appear to have weak points as I can gently bend the metal ends back and forth. As for the main length of the hair pin, most feel fairly strong, but I did have one that bent on the second use, snapping on the next attempt. Other than that, I think they're beautiful and against dark hair, stand out well. The dangling decorations work when the pins are placed horizontally and have a gentle swing to them. I tried following several instructional videos, but in the end, because my hair is waist length, I did my own thing. I wrapped my hair in a bun and pushed the pin through sideways. It felt incredibly secure and didn't budge at all.

Very weak material
The material is very weak and with even small pressure its breaking. The quality is bad too due to not smooth ends which is ending up pulling your hair out. It looks nice but it is just it.

Beautiful selection at a low price
Although I don’t think I have the ideal hair texture to fully appreciate hair pins (my hair is quite straight and fine), I do love them as an unusual way to add a bit of extra ornamentation. This set of 8 pins for £9.99 (at time of review) offers good value and the selection you get is really lovely. In a set like this, I always expect to take what I like and send the rest to the charity shop or friends, but actually I like all of these. The designs are mostly based on nature, with flowers and branches featuring heavily, They are all a silver finish which suits me well, and some feature faux pearls, frosted glass, iridescent glass cabochons that mimic moonstone, and in one case clear rhinestones. This means that the colours are neutral so match everything. Four of them have dangling charms, a feature which I absolutely love. The quality is not brilliant (as one could infer from the price) and one had lost a pearl in transit, but the pearl was still in the packaging and easily mended with a bit of glue. They look beautiful on and although I have to use them in conjunction with an elastic band for my hair, they do help keep it in place. I love these, and there’s also the option to split the pack and use them as little gifts.
