Shipping to Miami cost $30? Can be pickup????

Yes it is and we have a 75% discount rate with Fedex. They can't be picked up, we ship from the warehouse by the LAX airport where all the fish are imported. All the fish have to be shipping compliant with industry good practice which is overnight and in a temperature controlled box. We actually subsidize fed ex and don;t completely cover the cost of shipping. The fish are nice though and it saves time and car wear to the store. But if you have a very good independent aquarium store near you they may have these, national chain stores we don't recommend for any fish.

Do you guys just send a random color ? Or can we choose the color we want

We would love to just send whatever color we have the most of but it never works out that way - certainly we will do our best to match the color you request.

Is it actually 30$ to ship?

Unfortunately yes, and we really do not make money on shipping, we lose a bit. Our discount rate is very good with Fed-ex, but it is still expensive to overnite. However, it is a flat rate, if we can get more fish in the box it is still only $29. At this time we list just a few solid fish on Amazon, and as we get comfortable with the process we will add more items to help you and others out on the flat rate charge.
