Excellent, easy to apply, lasts, decreases breakage, and subtle…
Love this brand and line. My favorite is the raspberry one but I tried this one and it’s just as high quality and lasts. I’m a nail biter and can never keep nail polish on, this one actually stays on and looks nice. It’s also easy to apply. My nails grow slowly and this polish makes them grow faster (probably from less nibbling) and they feel a lot stronger. I plan to get more shades!

Glowing Natural Nails
Let me preface this review with my natural nails suck! They chip, peel, bend, and have ridges. So using gel nail polish has only exasperated those issues on my natural nails. Even though I was taking frequent breaks from gel nail polish, my nails continued to worsen. So I decided to stop using gel polish altogether, and try the Manicurist Active Smooth and Active Shine products. I researched the products for about two weeks before purchasing, and I wasn’t disappointed with the results! I wish I had a picture of my natural nails BEFORE I used the product. In my opinion, my nails after having the gel polish professionally removed and wearing the 2 products together for 15 days, my nails looked about 50% healthier. The ridges and peeling were significantly less. The first picture is after a professional manicure with 2 coats of the Active Smooth 01, 1 coat Active Shine, & no base or top coats. On the remaining pictures, I marked how many days that polish had been on. I did a normal amount of cleaning and frequent daily handwashing. When I clean, I usually have gloves on to try to save my skin from drying out! The last picture shows my nails after I did an at home manicure, before I applied the Manicurist’s products again. I truly like the products, and I hope that they continue to work for me in the future.

Smooth, silky, your nails but better
Love the smoothing effect on my nail, feel sleek and silky, look stunning. It’s your nails but better. Found it quick drying on its own. Now I want to try the plumping and brightening! Also think they make the best brush applicator compared to another green brand I’ve tried. I find this so easy to apply. I’m far from an expert at self applying but this brand makes it easy!!

Underwhelming and overpriced.
I had high hopes for this, especially at the price point. I wanted to transition from years of gel nails to going natural and hoped this would help melove my real nails. The damage was mostly at the tips as I have been growing them out for quite some time and they’re thin so figured this would strengthen and smooth them. It’s definitely more pink than beige and very transparent so if you have an ugly nail line it’s all visible. I got maybe 24 hours out of it before it chipped. I gave it a months worth of constant trying and having to repaint nails. It actually made my nails feel flimsier somehow, I tried another brand polish that made them feel harder the following day. Maybe it’s the aha? No clue…I like that it’s “natural” but it’s honestly all hype. The cheaper brand smoothed and covered and hardened my nails much better, while claiming to be natural too, and I’m just kinda disappointed I wasted $20 on 1 bottle of nail polish that dried up halfway through its use.Photos:Bottle after using less than 8 times.Nails after 1 coat, to see color texture etcNails after 2 coats to see color texture.I thought about trying their gel polish but the price point turned me off after reading about it chipping off after a day, I’d be pissed if I invested that much in a system, which is why I tried the regular polish to start, plus I brought it on vacation to fix and touch up and it’s not convenient to tough up with gel and pack all that stuff when the goal is to have a polish that can last more than a weekend.

easy and quick, but not perfect
It goes on easily and looks nice, but it does not fill in ridges as advertised. One coat was the perfect color. Two coats was a bit much, but I did it anyway to smooth the ridges.

Love me two times
Simple review: This polish is beautiful with 2 coats, lasts F O R E V E R, and I can pick it off in one easy piece if I try hard enough to find the right spot. I am very happy and somewhat more presentable in public.

Disappointing. Peels off after 24 hours.
I wanted so badly to like this nail polish, and love how it looks day one. Unfortunately I can’t get it to last for more than 24 hours on my nails before it starts separating from the nail and peeling off in one solid piece. I’ve tried nail dehydrators and rubbing alcohol to prep, I’ve tried no top coat and different combinations of top coats - I’m on my fifth manicure with this stuff and I’m ready to write it off as a waste. I bought this with the intention of giving my nails a break from lacquer polishes, but honestly with the amount of time I’ve had to redo my nails do to this polishes horrendous wear time I think my nails are in WORSE condition.

For those who have weak nails with ridges this will help
This works to smooth and protect the surface of nails which tend to split along the nail lenghth. When it drys, it feels like the nail can flex without exacerbating the existing splits and nail growth improves. Be sure to apply some along and slightly under the nail edge. A glass nail file will help to keep nail ends from peeling and catching on clothing. Emery boards are not the best for filing or shaping splitting nails. Use one to two coats. More will look better but can peel more easily. Love this!
