Yonex Nanoray Z Speed Badminton Racket

The racquet was as I expected.My only issue was that the racquet in its sleeve wasn't really secured in the shipping box.Being able to bounce between the walls of the box so freely seems a bit haphazard..

Personally, I do not like Yonex Nanospeed series because of the head-light characteristic. Although it has great maneuverability, it lacks the power from the racquet. I am generally okay with the Armortec / Voltric series, but my arms always get tired very quickly when I have to do a lot of drive shots. This Nanoray Z-Speed combines the maneuverability of Nanospeed with the power of Voltric. It's easy to use, and powerful. The only challenge when using this racquet is its smaller head-size / sweet-spot, but in general it's a great racquet!

Racket broke after 3 games of play. Probably from a mishit on the frame on a bird since the racket head is smaller and it was goign to take some time to adjust my timing, but it still shouldn't have broken at only 25lbs. I have a nanospeed 9900 that I've mishit on the bird, clash with partners racket, even hit the floor with it on 28lbs and it still hasn't broken so it lends me to believe that this racket has a rather weakly built frame.

Hi, I purchased this racket back in september when it came out. It definitely took time to get use to due to the head being a little bit smaller and requires some practice to get the timing of the swing right. The weight distribution feels head heavy kinda like the voltric z force. I transitioned to this racket from the voltric z speed and I absolutely love it. After getting use to playing with it, it definitely clears with ease and improved my reaction time at the net. However the drawback is that it took me a few tries at finding the right tension to string with this racket for me. I broke the strings a few times even though the break of the hit was at the sweet spot. I would definitely recommend this racket to anyone who's a power player and attacker.
