Good inexpensive mic stand
This is not an easily adjustable mic stand. Once I got it in the position I wanted it in, I tightened it down. Loosening it for adjustment requires a hex driver, which the stand does come with thoughtfully. The base is maybe 6 or 7 inches wide and 3 or 4 across. It's a nice metal plate with a 1/4 inch thick closed cell foam pad on the bottom for both some cushioning and to prevent damage to any tables it sits on. Each arm is about 8 inches tall and I have the arms at a 90 degree angle and then the microphone head adapter at about 45 degrees since my mic mounts upside down from the picture in the document. This puts the mic head right where I want it to be.So far it doesn't seem to transmit keyboard typing or any other minor noise like that. The stand is weighty, and I haven't worried about it tipping over. Stability I'd say is good for lighter weight mics.Overall if you just need a simple mic stand that doesn't need to articulate on the fly, it's a good purchase. I like that it doesn't need to be mounted to the table to be used.

Super Stable and Adjustable Mic Stand!
Great mic stand! It’s compatible with multiple mics, very stable, and super solid — it’s not going anywhere once you set it up. It doesn’t wobble or shift, which is exactly what I needed. Very portable and highly adjustable, making it perfect for different setups. Definitely a quality piece of equipment.

Worth every penny
Incredible. I got a mic that came with a mount which was great at home but at college the dorm furniture had no place to mount it- so I was distraught on where I was gonna find a stand compatible with the mic I had or just in general. I googled a bit and just kept getting mounted mics or tabletop mics, which, I don't need to buy another mic! This thing is genuinely worth every penny. It was the only such product I found, so I was worried it was gonna be crap. Nice and weighted, easy set up, plenty of adapters, sturdy, and you can loosen the joints to get the angle you want then tighten them so nothing moves, PLUS there is a dial so if you screw on your mic all the way and it's upside down, you can unscrew it till it's straight and just tighten up the dial. Amazing design, exceeded my expectations.

Great Mic Stand
Nice compact desk stand. If you can't use a swing arm, this is a good alternative. Seems to quiet. Using it with a Senheiser Profile and having no issues. The adjustment Allen key fits into the base, which is really convenient to prevent loss. Not an expensive piece of gear, but very good value.

Good sturdy design
I was surprised actually how heavy an rugged this microphone stand was. The base is a heavy plate of steel with a nice rubber pad underneath, which also holds the alan wrench used for any adjustments. The primary hinge is tight enough that I won't worry about the microphone sagging and its movement is in little increments, and you can tighten it up with the supplied wrench. The second hinge has the thumb screw for tightening, used to fix the angle of the microphone into place .My personal goal was to have a microphone between my keyboard and my dual monitor system so that I could record videos for YouTube and podcasts and this stand did not disappoint. My one reservation would be that it would be nice to have the main post somewhat adjustable in height height as to keep the post just below the height of the monitors, but that is really just because of the way I have my monitors set lower to the table. This setup will be good having the microphone positioned where it is near to me without being right in my face from the viewpoint of the camera.

40 Year Radio Vet (and voice-over person) rates this HIGH!! 5 Stars!
Been in broadcasting since 1977 (and radio since 1980). Have used boom arms, mic stands, and dozens of different supports for mics. I really like this desktop boom!! VERY well designed, robust, and has a slick look to it. Also, as a fun little "plus", it has a hex key tool for adjusting tension, and the designer was clever enough to build it into the base (under), so it's always available and handy. VERY nice!
