CACOCO is a local company, and I first sampled their product at the Palo Alto Farmers' Market. There's always a crowd around their booth, and for good reason: This is not an overly-sweetened hot cocoa powder made from the cheapest ingredients but a high quality mix that preserves all the health benefits of dark chocolate and delivers big flavor. The packaging is also attractive, reflecting the attention to detail that the CACOCO team has invested in their line of mixes The suggested serving size is four tablespoons but because I'm not very good at following instructions, I usually use just one tablespoon and mix it into coffee, resulting in a hot drink fit for the gods. The turmeric is my favorite, with spicy chocolate second. No, this is not the cheapest chocolate mix on the market (let's not talk about the stuff I used to consume when I was a poor student) but for people who love good chocolate, it is worth every cent.

Great taste. Make sure you mix it with a mixer.

What was frustrating is that not 1 person in the reviews described the flavor of this. It's a very unusual kind so you would think someone would mention it. Most reviews are useless! I could not taste the tumeric at all really. It was good but very little sugar and you need at least 4-5 HEAPING table spoons to get any flavor so it doesn't last long. It just tasted like slightly unsweet chocolate, slightly bitter. I don't like overly sweet coco like that Swiss Miss market crap so this is a high quality drinking chocolate & I did like it. But I was expecting something much more exotic & better with the Tumeric. Also the packaging is horrible, you can't re-seal it so you have to put it in a zip lock bag that you buy or it stays wide open to the air.

Some of the best drinking chocolate I’ve had. I enjoy drinking this, especially on these cold winter evenings. Although there haven’t been too many cold night this winter.
