We are a two-cat family, with the older, female being quite nervous and skittish. We had previously used the expensive pheromone (Feliway) but did not really notice if that was making a difference and stopped buying it some years ago.Around Christmas, we had an unfortunate incident where a robot vacuum somehow tumbled down the stairs noisily and hit a wall with a crash. The nervous cat basically took to hiding under the bed for days, too frightened to come out except for very short, fast trips to the litter box and dry food.After reading up on what it would take to get her to settle back to her old self, I saw pheromones recommended but was wary because of the the past experience with Feliway. This specific brand on Amazon seemed to have good reviews so I bought the pack of 3 diffusers and pheromones and hoped for the best.Once they arrived and were set up, within an hour or two, we started to see our female cat come out from under the bed more and within a couple of days, she was back to normal. She is still occasionally nervous and will hide under the bed if we have visitors or some other noisy, scary event but it doesn't last long and she comes back out quite quickly. In the areas where the diffusers are located, she will happily hang out and roll around, so that has been nice to see her feeling more confident because of the pheromones.I should say our other, younger, male cat does not seem to be affected by them at all but he was always more confident and rambunctious anyway and the robot vacuum incident did not phase him when it happened.The diffusers are interesting in that you can adjust the amount of time they will diffuse the pheromone but we leave ours on the 24 hour setting, rather than try to save the liquid by using the lower time settings. There is a night light function if you need it but we have them all turned off. For the bedroom diffuser, I put black, electrical tape over the display because otherwise it was too bright to sleep. Even then, the light still diffuses in an up and down direction but it is much dimmer than the display would be otherwise and is not as noticable.I have purchased a set of refills since then and they were very well priced. They tend to last about a month, which is pretty normal in my experience but if you used the lower time settings, you might get even more usage out of them. This could be useful if you know your cat will only be in a certain room for a certain amount of time but ours just roam wherever in the house all day and so we leave ours on the 24-hour setting.For our nervous cat though, we are really pleased with the pheromone and diffusers and the effect that it has had on her confidence and happiness was well worth it. We are very happy customers!

Love the ability to have these on only when needed rather than 24/7. This helps with saving money and electricity. One downside is that they do shut off when the power goes out (happens frequently where I live), so they need to be turned back on afterwards. They have a nice low-level light so it doesn't make the room too bright for sleeping, and the built-in nightlight is a nice touch for other rooms. The pheromones do work for keeping my girls calmer, since they tend to compete for attention.

Absolutely love this product!! I purchased this over a month ago and still have more than 1/2 the pheromone left in each container. My cats truly benefit from the pheromone but could not afford how fast they went and how expensive the refills are. This digital plug makes it affordable. Refills last 3 times longer and its quiet! The device doesn't get too hot and shuts off in the amount of time you set. No more worries of safety from being plugged in either. It's wonderful!!! Highly recommend!

Incredibly affordable compared to the name brand and so far, it works. I've been using these for almost a month now and they appear to have the same effect on my cats as the name brand did, but for a fraction of the price. I also love that the diffusers have timers, which is super helpful because you can extend the life of the plug-ins by changing how long they are on. The diffusers also have not gotten hot to the touch, which was a complaint of the name brand ones. I will continue to buy from this brand as long as they are in business!

We have 2 cats- brother and sister. I have no hard data on if these actually work but IMO the results are positive. I have seen less scratching on furniture and fighting with each other. They are also more loving with us.

I purchased these diffusers after having tried other brands, and so far this one actually seems to work. Also, having experienced issues with melting plug-in scent diffusers in the past, I'm extremely wary of these types of plug-ins. The digital screen is nice, and is very easy to operate, and I have it on the 24-hour setting, so they never turn off (I wanted to test the heat). They passed that test, easily, being barely warm to the touch.I've rescued three cats since this last summer, and with the additional cats in my household (there are six now), there has been stress, to say the least. The previous brand, I can't honestly say did much to calm things down here. However, within a day or so of plugging these in, I have noticed a diminishment of the aggressive behaviors my cats have exhibited. There is still some spraying going on (sigh) but not as much as before. I'd recommend these. I just purchased a six-pack refill so I don't run out.

After a few months these plug ins stop working. You have to set for 4,8,12 or 24 hrs and the plug in stops working and won't come on unless you manually turn it on every single day!
