Excellent device for eliminating insects
In summer we leave the rear door & windows open most days. We purchased this bug zapper to stop bugs flying around the house. It works well & has caught dozens of bugs, the only gripe is a short power cable.

DO NOT BUY
This is not suitable for UK. It has a US socket and works off a lowet power meaning the moment you plug it makes awful clicking noise like its going to explode. Not even sure why its available in the UK

Good
Quite like this light. Effective particularly at night. Noise level is noticeable but strangely satisfying. Catches plenty of flies particularly when darker. Odourless. Easy to use just unpack and plug in. Size, roundly the height of a 2lt bottle roughly!

It's a bug's like.... Zzzzzzap
Bugs, what bugs 🤗 I tried reasoning with them, politely asking them to leave, even drew them a map of the room detailing all viable exit points... Not a sausage.So... Now they exit through the gift shop.Great lamp, doesn't get too hot and zaps bugs like a shotgun.

Review
This bug zapper works brilliantly! It instantly reduced the number of flies and mosquitoes around our patio, making evenings outside much more enjoyable. It’s easy to set up, quiet, and the UV light is very effective at attracting insects. I was surprised at how many bugs it caught in just the first night. Cleanup is simple thanks to the removable tray. Highly recommend for anyone tired of being bugged all summer!

An effective zapper. Would buy again.
Excellent little bug zapper. Works well and has a stable base, so does not knock over too easily. Best one of this type I have bought. (Hope spare bulbs are available and easy to change.) Other makes that I bought previously were hopeless with regard to stability. Some have criticised the short lead. A bit longer would be good, but the manufacturer recommends placing it a metre from the ground, and it is long enough for that.

Not very effective
When plugged in initially it ‘zapped’ many times and still does from time to time, however the only thing in tray is a few tiny flies. It sparked once and there was a little smoke so I can’t leave it on at night. I had left it on at night before this but it still didn’t the average houseflies. The power cord is also quite short so putting it up high, as suggested, is not an option.
