TRIDENT-20 (Gen-2) backpack is the natural evolution of the popular Javelin slingpack into a larger, more versatile backpack. You wear it like a backpack, with the option of quick-access from the side like a slingpack. The new TRIDENT-20 (Gen-2) is 21 liters in total capacity (1 liter larger than the original TRIDENT), with improved shoulder straps, and a removable 2" waist strap. You can now comfortably carry more gear and heavier loads. Padded main compartment and three dividers provide extra protection for your EDC (everyday carry) items, photography gear, or range gear. A dedicated laptop sleeve that can hold a 15" laptop (MacBook Pro / Air) in a slim cover. You can access the interior from top or left side, and like a slingpack, you can quickly get to your gear by swinging the backpack to your front. Total 34 pockets and slots to organize your gear. High-visibility 210-D ripstop nylon interior helps you find things in low-light conditions. Dual hydration system (hydration/CCW compartment, and main compartment) let you carry up to 5 liters of water at once. Hydration hose can be anchored to the left or right shoulder strap. Low profile MOLLE-Air structure is MOLLE-compatible, and loop-covered for ID patches. Many interior loop fields for CCW and internal organization. With its genuine 1000-D mil-grade Cordura fabric (500-D Cordura on Multicam & Multicam-Black) coated in DuPont Teflon, ITW/Duraflex hardware, and lockable YKK zippers, TRIDENT is a compact day pack ready to handle any tough situations.

Great backpack, couple nits
Been pretty happy with this backpack. I'm currently using an older (2015) silver 15in macbook pro and its a bit snug, but I'm moving to a new 13 so won't be an issue.I do wish it was a mirror image of what it is though. I carry single strap on my right shoulder, which according to a survey of everyone else in my office is most common 8 out of 10. Opening should be on other side for mass market.CCW compartment is great.

Bomb proof bag.
Hands down one if not the best beat bag I've ever owned. Keepsme organized and the orange inside makes it easy to see in most light conditions. Build quality is amazing as well. Holds my 12 inch macbook and iPad pro together or my 15inch macbook well.

Amazing backpack one of the best I've ever had or seen. But I really want to see inside one or two zip pouches instead of Velcro.

I LOVE THIS BAG!
A compartment for everything! It arrived quicker than the estimate from Amazon AND came with a little discount coupon for more Vanquest gear. Score! Every bit of this bag is sturdy and ready for action. The seams are strong. The zippers don't bind. The compartments are in great locations inside and outside the bag. And it is super comfortable fully loaded! Worth every penny!

Lot of different pockets and sections and tough material well made.
This is the coolest pack ! Perfect size for normal survival pack not to big and not to small. Pockets everywhere. I got mine in multi cam black..

Almost Perfect
I lover this bag. There are some mods I would do, but overall it is the best I have used yet. Sent them my advise and hope they putt in gen 3 for the perfect bag.

I love it, was bit trepedacious when my wife said I needed to move from my 5.11 Rush 72 to something smaller as my EDC.Couple of things to note, of you downsizing think hard about what you are going to leave out. (in this case the divders was the one for me).Second for those that carry wieght, it is not going to reduce it and spread it out across a wide area, it does concentrate the weight higher up. That can be weird, I stuck with it and its feels normal now.Third, do you carry a water bottle, - go get a molle water bottle holder when you buy this. my Trident has not problems with the water bottle holder, but you will NOT be able to put this in and fit in everything else.My bag holds (daily).1 small first Aid kit.1 Laptop/Tablet +PSU1 Maxpedition beefy organizer (stuffed)1 Massive Pen box (white board markers and things).1 Notebook (Moleskin)Glasses CaseRolled up North Face all weather shellKeysWalletHeadphones1 UmbrellaThe extra water bottle pouch with a 1 Liter Camelbak

Teuer aber hammer gut! Sehr gute qualität und praxistauglichkeit nutze es täglich und für wirklich alles reisen waldspaziergang jagd etc. diese 200 dollar waren gut investiert, hat schon so einiges mitgemacht ist echt für sie ewigkeit gebaut.

Nach 1,5 Jahren Trageriemenschlaufe gerissen
Eigentlich ist es ein klasse Rucksack. Aber heute ist mir während der Reise ein Trageriemen bzw. die Schlaufe dafür gerissen. Das darf bei dem Preis einfach nicht passieren ( Rucksack war nicht in Heavy use)
