Good camera/monitor kit for rear view display on RV trailer
I actually purchased three camera/monitor kits. I mounted one of the cameras on the rear of my 26' Cruiser Fun Finder RV trailer using the pre-hookup installed on the trailer for a Furrion backup camera system (which, for one Furrion camera and monitor, is about 2 times the cost of one of these units). I installed the other 2 cameras at the front end of the trailer on the underside on both the right and left sides facing slightly outward and towards the rear. Wiring takes a little bit of time, but it is not difficult. I wired the 2 side-front cameras directly to the trailer battery with an inline fuse in between (2 amp is more than sufficient). Because each camera comes with a quick connect/disconnect plug, I use the quick connect plug to disconnect the cameras when not in use (so they don't draw down the RV trailer battery). Because the rear camera is hooked up to the Furrion prewired camera mount, it turns on/off via the trailer lights (so you have to have your tow vehicles lights on when driving, which is probably a good idea anyways for safety reasons). The two front side cameras on the trailer provide good views of cars in the lanes next to the trailer as well as the underside of the trailer. As funny as that may sound, having a view of the underside of the trailer is actually a good thing so you can keep an eye on the trailer tires (for possible debris issues, loose wheels, or blowouts) or any road debris that might affect your undercarriage. The rear view camera provides a good view of everything behind your trailer as well as traffic approaching from either side of the trailer. There is an occasional lag time on the rear view camera at higher speeds when using the regular wireless antenna (which is about 4 -5 inches long) due to the distance between the camera and the monitor. However, if you contact the manufacturer on their web address contained in the instructions that come with the camera, they will send you a longer antenna free of charge. The longer antenna helps to clear up any signal lags using the wireless capability. I personally have each camera going to a different monitor (so I have 3 monitors in the tow vehicle). I find that it makes it easier to see what is going on. I believe this company also offers a 2 camera version that ties into one monitor, so if dash space is something of a premium and you don't want to have several monitors in your tow vehicle, you can go that route. There are several different mounting styles for the monitor in the tow vehicle cab. If you prefer a suction cup mount, it does not come with the kit. You will need to contact the manufacturer and request they send you one. They will do this free of charge. Be aware that they may have to back order the suction cup mounts, so it may take a little time for them to come in. Overall, I think these are good camera/monitor kits and would recommend it to others looking to install a camera system on their rig.

Great Camera System, great after sales support.
It took me a while to write this because I wanted to make sure it worked. We’ve been camping for over 2 months and it performs flawlessly. I had my doubts about this inexpensive camera set up and the free second camera , but I bought on the chance that it would work on my 30 foot 5th wheel RV. Hooked it up per instructions but the video kept going on and off. I thought I’ld buy a couple cheap antennas instead of messing with the seller , so I bought 4 antennas for $20 and put one on the camera and one on the monitor, no improvement, video was on and off. In the mean time I requested the free license plate camera, I got it right away and with a little modification, it worked perfect and allowed me to see my hitch when connecting my truck to the camper. Bingo, one need met. I then requested the free antenna extender ( antenna) from the seller and got it right away. I hooked it up to the camera on the rear of my RV, mounted the antenna about mid length of my camper and the picture is flawless. I always thought there was a technical solution to the issue, but I thought I would have problems with the seller providing the free equipment after the sale. I experienced just the opposite, very responsive correspondence and updates as well as quick shipping. This camera system and after the sale support was great. It all surprised me. Charlie

Good value for the money. Read to learn how to boost the signal!!
I purchased this camera kit for use on my Ford Explorer and 22' (total length) travel trailer with aluminum sides, and have been using it for the last three weeks. I had poor performance at the beginning, but after buying a high quality 25 foot 2.4GHz coax SMA extension cable ( $37, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TCKG14D/ ) and high gain 2.4 GHz antenna ($12, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07HRPZFZD ) that I installed on the FRONT of the trailer.... Now the system is working GREAT! (I am an electrical engineer) Important Notes: - I would STRONGLY recommend wiring the rear camera to the rear trailer running lights. This way you can turn the camera off and on at any time from the driver's seat, and it won't be continuously running down your battery! (I thought this would be hard, but when I flipped open the cover to one of the running lights, there were just two screws to remove, and it pulled right out with extra wiring that was easy to tap into! I originally tapped directly into the trailer's 12VDC mains, and then later re-wired it to the lights) - If you have an aluminum travel trailer like mine, with the "stock" antennas in the kit the signal WILL NOT reach from the back of the trailer to the front of your tow vehicle, even with a reasonably short straight-line distance ( mine is ~35') , enough to give a smooth video feed. You will need to add an extension cable and mount the antenna closer to the front of the trailer for a good signal. I do not recommend the extension antenna they provide....more on that later. Overall, this is a good backup camera kit for the money. I love the quality/durability and large size of the screen. It's great! The resolution is not HD, but is plenty for pretty much any situation. The night vision capability is EXCELLENT. I can see an amazingly well on extremely dark nights. The MAJOR drawback of this kit is the signal range. With the stock antennas (and 35 feet from rear camera to front screen), I rarely even got 3 frames per second of video on the screen, and there were frequent drop-outs and black screens for 2-4 seconds. HOWEVER, this can be overcome by running a high-quality coaxial extension cable (designed for the 2.4GHz), and mounting a better antenna near the FRONT of your trailer. This company offers a "remote" antenna, but I DO NOT recommend it. After experiencing the poor FPS and drop-outs, I ordered and installed the extension antenna they offered, but the improvement was only very slight. The extension antenna they sell uses a very low-quality coax cable that is NOT designed to carry 2.4GHz signals for 12 feet (the length of the cable they provide). With this setup, the cable itself is degrading your signal strength by >75%! It was also not long enough for me to move the antenna to the front of the trailer. I then ordered a coax extension cable designed for these frequencies: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TCKG14D/ and ran the cable along the length of the trailer to the front, and installed a higher gain 2.4GHz antenna: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07HRPZFZD Now I always have 4 bars of continuous signal, and have not yet experienced any drop-outs, even when running a WiFi hotspot in the car at the same time. Overall, for $200 total investment, I now have a very reliable, good quality backup camera for my RV. Note: -Even with full signal strength, the frame rate of this video feed is nowhere close to 30fps. I would guess it is designed for ~10 fps. This is't really a negative because it is plenty for towing, but I was surprised that the video is not as "smooth" as a movie or standard video. Update: After a five month road trip and over 15,000 miles travelled, the camera is still working well! It has paid for itself many, many times over. Now I really can’t imagine trying to drive or back up a trailer without a rear camera.

Excellent value AND easy installation
Looking for a replacement for the failed backup camera system (DIFFERENT manufacturer & distributor) I chose the LeeKooLuu LK5 HD 960P Digital package because of its features and price point. I am used to the 7-inch display and will accept nothing smaller. I wanted wireless and digital and I want it all for under $125 US. This camera system fits my needs perfectly. The box came with everything I needed for easy installation. It even came with a quick connect splitter used to power both monitor and camera for testing prior to installation. When I powered up the test I found the camera was already paired to the monitor. My rig consists of a 25-foot trailer and 1500 size pickup. The camera and monitor are about 40-feet apart. The color picture is clear and stable while driving at highway speed. The camera is mounted with the Furion adaptor and connected to the taillight wiring (I use my headlights anytime I am moving) thus enabling the camera to function as a rear-view mirror while driving. The monitor came with two methods for mounting in the cab. I chose to not use either as I do not want screw holes or double-sided tape on my dash. I tried the window suction cup but do not like it. It takes up too much windshield real estate for my liking. I simply use two rubber bands to attach it to my mirror! Pros: Fast shipping It came a day faster than promised. Excellent value. Similar systems priced anywhere from $150 average to over $500 for Furion Ease of installation. All connectors & brackets provided. Instruction clear and concise. Large 7-inch display. Digital system provides a stable and clear picture. MUCH better than analog. Cons: Picture quality is 960 P and a tiny bit grainy or rough at the edges of objects in the monitor. In fairness to the product, it functions perfectly. I just wish now that I had spent the extra $20 1080 P version.

Amazing clarity camera system at an outstanding price!
LeeKooLuu is amazing! STAY FAR AWAY FROM FURRION though! Our Furrion Tv, stereo/dvd and now Furrion camera monitor system all failed within two years!!! The camera started turning turning very blue and blurry! Tried cleaning with mild soap then buffing like they advised and made it worse! Used to be able to read license plates! Now I can’t even tell what type of vehicle is back there! Furrion wont do a thing. They don’t offer replacement cameras and now say they want me to spend over $800 for a new system. Goodbye Furrion! LeeKooLuu is amazing! Twice the size screen, DVR recording, excellent 1080p clarity, free Furrion mounting kit and wire adapter at a fraction of over priced Furrion! Installed in 10 minutes to factory Furrion mount. Initially I didn’t have the mount but the listing said to contact them so I did...they sent the mount and power adapter, an extension antenna, windshield suction mount and second camera (on back order tho) all for free! No questions asked! Haven’t been on the road yet but bench testing in the house showed a crystal clear image from the other side of the house. I’ll update after we hit the road and add images.

If you are seriously considering the purchase of a great backup camera that is...
If you are seriously considering the purchase of a great backup camera that is easy to install, gives a great picture, and sold at a good price, this is it. I needed a backup camera for my 2001 Dodge Ram pickup. My previous backup camera ($150.00) went out on me. I pull a boat several times a week, so backing up to the trailer can get frustrating no matter how many times you do it. I read reviews on several backup cameras and checked prices. I didn't want to run a bunch of wires, so I needed wireless. I decided to try this one. (Amazon is great concerning returns. I knew if I wasn't satisfied, I could return it.) I was immediately impressed with the construction of upon unpacking the unit. All one needs to do is decide if you want the camera available all the time or only when you backup. I decided I wanted it available all the time. I found my tail light wire and spliced it into the camera's red wire. I connected the camera's black wire to my tail light's black wire. All I have to do is turn on my parking lights and the camera comes on immediately no matter which direction I'm going. It's interesting to watch behind you while driving forward. I needed to be able to see my trailer ball, so I needed a camera I could adjust up and down. This was perfect. The monitor is powered from my 12-volt cigarette lighter. The 12-volt plug has its own on/off lighted switch, so if I'm driving at night, I can turn the camera off simply by pressing the red off/on switch. The monitor is large - 7" and metal frame. I mounted it with the suction cup so it wouldn't slide resting on my dash, but it comes with several ways to mount. The picture is amazingly clear. The camera has LED night vision lights, so if I'm backing up with insufficient light, the camera will go into night vision automatically making backing up with low light a breeze. I use the guide lines to square me up when backing into my parking space at my condo or anyplace. However, you can turn the guide lines off if you want. I use the 7" large monitor, but it also comes in a 5" monitor (which I plan to acquire for my 2005 Jeep Cherokee) with a tag-camera, and a 4.3" monitor. I love my backup camera and I highly recommend this product.

Unpaid Review: For the price, I don't know how you can beat it
I have a 22' trailer, and this camera works well. I love how it's wireless. The screen is big... very big, I think that is a pro and a con. It's nice to have the big screen but also takes up a lot of window real-estate. Pros: -Works well -Nice image (It's standard def, not HD or 4k mind you, but it looks good) -Super easy to set up -Attaches to Furrion with their adaptor (you have to message them to have it mailed to you) Cons: -I wish it had a cover. I live in the south west and I am assuming this will get too hot with the blazing sun we get. -Camera is not very wide angle. This not a GoPro wide angle, it's like semi wide angle. It is a little wider than my cell phone camera, if that helps at all. I did think it would be a wider angled camera. Maybe that would have decreased the clarity? I have the camera mounted at the top of the trailer (furrion mount); if the camera is pointed down so I can barely see my bumper, I can see about 12' behind the trailer, if I point the camera up more, to see 40' back, I can't seen right behind the trailer. -Wires. There is no real good way to hide or wrap up the wires with the included kit. They just hang out of the back. This is going to be the case with any camera, so It's not really a con to this specific brand, I just wish there was some sort of housing. I'll have to figure that out myself. This is a great bang for your buck camera, not in the cheap sort of way, it is really quite good for the price. There are some small cons listed above, but really, I would buy it again.
