Fleck5600 Filter Piston Rebuild Kit (Fleck Replacement Parts 60102-10 & 60125)

One of the valves came in two pieces. Looks like these things are snapped together and this particular valve was in half. I put it back together and it’s still loose. I put it in my filter and seems to be holding…for now….

Outer ziplock bag says that items included are 60102-10 (filter piston) and 60125 (seals and spacers). However, the piston actually included is 60102-00 which is a water softener piston, which has different spacing of lands and valleys for different timings. Also included is a brine valve, not needed for a filter kit. I sent the first one back for a replacement but the replacement received had the same error. I’ve given this two stars since I’m sure the parts are just fine if you want a water softener rebuild kit instead of the filter rebuild kit that was advertised.

It stopped my squealing and over filling of brine tank during rinse. Replaced brine valve and jets also. Softener is like new. Easy to install.

Worked out well. Replaced my old binding unit with this new one and it works great.

Worked perfectly. No more leaks.
