Will this work for a 98 Chevy 2500

NO! This only works for throttle-by-wire vehicles. In 1998 they were still using a physical cable from the petal to the throttle body.

Does this work on a 2002 Chevy tahoe

If it has a computer it should mate up. When ordering the manufacturer askes the make and model of the vehicle. If it's compatible the sale will be approved. If not there will be an error message. Hope this helps.

No my Silverado is a 2018 only has a thousand miles on it and it works great on my car does not affect the computer at all no traces no check engine lights. Just plug it in and feel the power
