Spigen Tempered Glass Screen Protector [GlasTR EZ FIT] designed for Pixel 9a - 2 Pack

When I originally got it and saw that it came with two, I thought that was kind of nice, but ultimately not necessary. I labeled the box to indicate there was an extra and put it away for use in the very distant future. Well, wouldn't you know it, I dropped my phone and it landed directly on a little keychain that I keep tethered to it... Maybe not the best place for a keychain, but hindsight and all that. When I saw the damage done, all I could do was hope that it was just screen protector damage, and that the phone was still okay, but I'm going to be honest, I expected the screen to need replacement. This was not a small crack. To my shock, the damage was limited to the screen protector, and better- I already had a replacement on hand. I am now typing this review on the phone that I dropped less than an hour ago with no visible damage to the phone, and a perfectly good screen protector reapplied. Not only that, but every step of this, from initial installation to replacement, was easy. It never lifted while it was installed, so I was worried that removing the cracked screen protector would be difficult, but once I started lifting at a corner it started pulling away cleanly. Additionally, the adhesive layer did a great job of keeping all of the cracked bits together, preventing a mess of glass shards as I lifted it off of my phone. Other reviewers have talked about how easy the installation is and I agree wholeheartedly so I won't go in to that here. Suffice it to say it took about 15 minutes to find my replacement screen protector, remove the broken one, and get the new one installed. Screen protectors do not make phones impervious to damage, they just take the damage that would have gone to the extremely expensive glass screen. This screen protector did exactly that. It took all the damage, and my phone is still pristine. I will be buying another set of screen protectors so that next time I do something inadvisable, I will have a new piece of sacrificial glass ready and waiting for installation. I highly recommend this product to anyone who has ever dropped their phone on accident. It will happen again. When it does, would you rather replace the screen protector? Or the whole screen? Usually I buy one of the least expensive tempered glass screen protectors...yes, in my experience, they all protect the screen. The one I got with my Pixel 9a was not cheap, but was an optional freebee with the phone. unfortunately the glass shifted over time and the little hole for the selfie lens was no longer aligned. This was a continual irritation. I thought I would try this protector. It was a little more expensive, but was from Spigen. They make the case I use (which I really like) and part of the description is that the protector is made to fit their cases well. The system Spigen uses for applying their screen protectors is amazing. Each protector comes installed into a frame that is used to align the protector and the application process was completed quickly with only minor bubbles on the edges and no visible dust particles. The tool that is provided to work on air bubbles is very comfortable to use and seems effective. Watching the video online really helped, as the process is different from any that I have used up to this point. Spigen also included videos on dealing with air bubbles and dust particles after applying the protector. The best part is that the protector is slightly larger than the one I was using, so it fits the screen better...very close to the edges of the screen and the Spigen case I am using. Additionally, this screen protector does not have a hole for the rear facing camera. No alignment problems! I don't expect the glass to affect photo quality as it is clear and close enough to the lens to be out of focus.

I love that this product not only comes with the cleaning supplies but it also comes with a little spatula thing to help with bubbles. This product was easy to use, the instructions were clear. I liked the hard plastic alignment it made putting the protection on very easy. The screen is so clear now and its high quality. I drop my phone a lot and this protecter has prevented cracks. Great value for the price.

Both screen protectors cracked withing 24 hours of being applied, without having dropped the phone. I've had screen protectors less than half the price last longer than these ones, its ridiculous. Only reason I'm giving them 2 stars instead of 1 is because the application process is so easy and idiot-proof, and they both went on with zero bubbles or issues, perfectly aligned. Edit: Screen protector continues to chip all along the edge of the display despite no drops. The screen protector is also extremely easy to scratch. Again, I've had cheaper screen protectors from no-name companies perform LEAGUES better than this one has. Never going to buy another Spigen product again.

The screen protector was very easy to apply and fits the screen perfectly. The cleaning tools it came with worked very well. The screen sensitivity is working just as well as before and camera quality doesn't seem to be impacted. Can't speak to the durability just yet.

Seems decent enough. Install process was fairly simple, should be durable enough to protect against minor wear over the time I have it. I will say however, this is a bulky screen protector. It stands high up from the actual glass. This is only a secondary/work device so it does not bother me as much as if it was my main phone.

I usually don't use a screen protector, but after my pixel got scratched by my keys, I was looking for some protection. The scratches were light, but visible, and a little irritating. This completely hid them! I couldn't be more pleased. The installation was easy and a good fit and the glass is clear and responsive.

Fits perfectly on my Pixel 9a. It was easy to install. Go for it. Earlier I've used spigen tempered glass for 6a and it did save a bad day. Spigen is quality stuff.

The only thing this applicator helps with it positioning the protector, but it increases the likelihood of dust getting under which makes the whole thing pointless. Spent over twenty quid to get two of these protectors and both ended up looking terrible with trapped dust underneath and had to be taken off again, leaving me with no screen protector, twenty quid out of pocket, and contributing much more plastic waste than had I just bought the much cheaper screen protectors I'm used to.

Don't waste your time with the other "value packs" of tempered glass screen protectors; yes, they're cheaper, but they won't install properly and they'll cause touch sensitivity issues, whereas this kit works exactly as intended. This is the first time in all my years of phone ownership that I have actually managed to install my own screen protector correctly with no air bubbles or stray dust bits. I know that these things are foolproof because I am a fool and yet here I am looking at my phone with its perfectly pristine protector. (I will update this in time with my thoughts on how well the protector has held up, but so far I'm thrilled!)

Best in class although costly enough. It should be less prised.
