You get what you pay for
I bought these speakers knowing that they would be cheap garbage and boy I was not disappointed. For a cheap speaker for a radio soldering kit this is perfectly fine.

Has good mounting holes
These sound much better than the 0.5W speakers I had before, and the fact that they have holes for mounting makes them even better. I used them with an LM386 circuit.

Smaller than advertised.
I have a set of old Pioneer speakers that I love but the mid and tweeter blew on one of them. Rather than scrap them, I decided to fix them. I spent over an hour with a set of digital calipers measuring and comparing to listings here on Amazon, and these were supposed to be an exact fit by the screw hole dimensions. These speakers are smaller than the listing states they are by about a quarter of an inch, or ~6mm. The listing also does not state that this speaker has solder terminals instead of flat blade terminals like standard speakers do. Otherwise, electrically they were an exact match for the speakers that came out of the cabinet. I was able to make the speaker work with a bit of solder and a bit of acoustic foam to fill in the gaps (these are my workshop speakers, don’t really care much about them being “pretty”), but I just wanted to let people know they are smaller than they say they are. Not sure if there was a revision after the listing went up where the dimensions changed slightly, but it was frustrating to have spent so long with a set of calipers finding something that would fit the bespoke pioneer holes to have not actually found the correct speaker. It is what it is and I at least have a full range speaker again. As far as sound goes, they’re not as good as the original Pioneer components (and I wasn’t really expecting them to be), but when both are pumping it’s not super noticeable. The original speakers I believe had more high end “sparkle” than this does, but it gets the job done and gets me out of having only a woofer on my left and full range on my right.

Nice little speakers. Used to replace an intercom speaker.
These speakers appear well-made and good for their intended uses. However, the written description appears to have been written by a non-technical person. I won't try to re-write it here, but it's definitely not a subwoofer, nor does it use a USB connection. It's a part you can use in a project or for replacement.
